Powder is a different show with a relatively new concept and it has always shown characters to be quite real to life, the research done is commendable, story track is good, direction is fine, photography is good in short everything is appreciated. The only thing I find flawed is characterisation of Brinda-she is shown to be a strong well determined girl but lately her presentation is of a negligent and irrational girl. Intially when they showed her trying to fit in the male domain it was fine but now after trying to fit in with some amount of success, showing her making blunders, taking the bait , feeling threatened and not analysing is not only taking the shine off her earlier well built charac but being member of NCB is put to test too. Her charac is being weakened by stererotypical portrayal something which she earlier set to remove. I hope the makers take note and give her charac some merit. In this sense the best characterisation has been of Usman and Ansari with their flaws and strengths.

agree ........

Brinda is shown as the replica of young Usman who was ambitious, dedicated but commited mistakes and created blunders like she does.
but i agree with you her potrayl geeting week and commiting too many mistakes.
i know she will be shown as a much better character later who will shut all mouths who say 'crime aur police mardo ki field hai',as an officer she will prove herself and and as an individual also she will grow better and stop doing blundres, her character would be potrayed better
but i 'll still say she is potrayed far better than women in other show.i started watching this show bcs of her and still luv her.

You are right, they pointed it out in the epi also. I too hope they show her growing stronger and taking sensible decns at least making an attempt to evaluate a sitn.
I totally agree that her portrayal is not only better but more realistic and humane too. I applaud the Powder team for that👍🏼

Hey guys, you both are quite right, I agree with you both, even I felt this. But I think right now one reason could be the Anuj's betrayal. For her Anuj was more like a friend but when he betrayed her, she got convinced that she's not a officer. I think her personal dilemma is something which came in between right now. I'm sure she'll be back to old Brinda soon.😳

Brinda has done many stunts in starting ,i think she has done more stunts as compared to other officers ........the jump from wall and the truck scene were best .she was potrayed very well and now also she is doing well😉 now they are not showing any officer doing stunts ,there is not much action these days,so if Brinda don't do stunts I won't complain about it but as I said want old Brinda back keeping doing stunts apart😛

Hey a good topic. Even I felt a bit of what realtybites ahs written. But when U analyse it apepars all this is to make her more stronger. She might emerge as a winenr and maybe the one who would be pivotal in getting Ansari.

I still find her character very realistic ....firstly she does not have any background in crime and allied activities .......she just an inoccent girl who has joined NCB to fight against crime....and now she is in process of learning.......she is making her mistakes.......all do them ...but she is kinda girl who wont repeat them......a fast learner for sure .....there is no doubt she is strong but at the end of the day she is a GIRL.....and Men at work do know to bully them easily
but Usmaan sir is to be balmed for it equally cause ....her is thier mentor...and on cases like this one....mentor should give thier subordinates clear instructions....like here i would have prefered if Usman sir had clearly told Brinda not to let out the name of thier Target to any one ....then she would not compromised with that DRI guy in Delhi...plus how could Usman not tell Brinda about NCB DRI Dushmani?

THanks, thats possible. May be she wanted to prove herself so dearly that it clouded her judgment but still I wld have prefered had they showed her learning it on her own rather than Mahendra obliging her.
