Saas-bahu drama
One of television's nagging mothers in law, Usha Nadkarni aka Savitatai of Pavitra Rishta has an interesting tid-bit to share. She says that once a channel reporter called her up and asked her if she pushed her on-screen bahu (Ankita Lokhande) so hard that she had a sprain.
Says Nadkarni, "I was like, 'When did I do this? So I took the reporter to Ankita's make room and asked her, 'When did I push you and have you sprained your hand because of me.'So Ankita denied it and later told me that it was actually a story planted by vested interest about how she and I don't get along well! I told her that she should have told me earlier and I would have played up the whole incident and said that she has had multiple sprains and aches because of me!"
That's Nadkarni for you, with her funny bone intact.
