Friday's Updates
Sk meets with the higher ranking official. The converstaion goes something like this:

Sk's Boss: Is any change in your decision?

Sk: There is no change; I am still going to take action against Kula. I will let the law decide who is right and who is wrong; if the law decides that I am in the wrong, then I am ready to be punished as well.

Sk's boss: I know you would not change your mind But, I have collected some data about Kula and I think it is best for you to release him. Otherwise, you will probably face a lot of trouble.

Sk: Why would I be in trouble when I haven't done anything wrong?

Sk's Boss: By trouble, I mean you may face things like getting transfered to some other state, etc

Sk looks shocked.

SK's Boss: I am only saying all this because I dont want you to get in trouble. YOu are a good collector and in a few years, you can even take over my job. Anyway, think through and come to a good decision once you reach home

Sk shakes hands with the boss and leaves thoughtfully.

Next scene, Sk is back home reading the papers Ganga comes to give him coffee and asks him why he is reading paper instead isn't resting in his room.

Sk says he did sleep on the train. Ganga wonders how he could sleep so easily on the train. Sk flirts a little; he says he couldnt sleep for a while because he was thinking of his chellam and their chella baby. Then, he went to sleep after thinking of Ganga singing a lullaby for the baby. Ganga blushes a little and smiles

She then asks him about Subha. He says he talked to her and after she compelled, he went to her place for lunch. Sk says he was upset hearing about Subha and her life. Ganga wishes she was there to help her friend.

Sk's dad and Sk's mom walk in then. Karpagam immediately asks what is so sad in Chennai? Sk says he was talking about Ganga's friend who helped Ganga during her IAS exams.

Sk's dad casually remarks that Sk should have brought Ganga along as well to talk to her friend.

That is enough for Karpagam; she starts yelling at her husband to stop blaming her. Karpagam says that it is not safe for a pregnant woman to travel; that's why she wanted Ganga to stay behind.

Sk tells his mom not to get so worked up for such a small issue. Then, he asks her what she would want to do if he gets transfered to some other state. Sk's dad starts worrying; he asks Sk if he heard anything about a transfer; is he expecting a transfer? Ganga's face dims when she hears the word transfer. Sk says nothing like that, he was only just asking.

Sk's dad asks Ganga why she became so dull when they started talking about job transfer. Sk's dad then advises Sk to bring Ganga with him the next time so that she can be happy.

Karpagam, as usual, is not happy. She asks Ganga what if Sk is transfered to Delhi or Bihar or someplace like that; what will she do?

Ganga preaches about how wherever Ramar stays is Ayodya for Sita. Like that, she will go with her hubby if he gets a transfer. Ganga says if it is within Tamilnadu, Sk can manage somehow but in another state, he will need to adjust with food and everything. So, she wants to be there to take care.

Karpagam tells her that Sk is a collector, not a clerk. He gets provided a bunglow housing and servants. As for food, Sk can just hire a cook.

Sk's dad immediately rises to Ganga's defense. He says we can't expect some 3rd party servant to look after Sk with the same care that Ganga gives her husband.

Sk's mom says even when Sk's dad went to Kashmir, Bihar, xyz places as a collector, she didn't just blindly follow him. She stayed in Chennai only.

Sk's dad says times were different then; also, he tells Karpagam that she didn't know how to read or write and would have language problems. So, he left her behind for her comfort. However, Ganga is a different case; she is going to be a collector. Ganga needs to go out and gain exposure to different areas so that she gains valuable experience when she becomes a collector later on.

Ganga looks a bit upset after hearing the argument.

Karpagam refutes all the points her husband makes. Karpagam says she cares about her grandchild the most. She tells Ganga, that until she delivers the baby, Ganga should not go anywhere.
Karpagam orders Sk to stay at home is he wants to or leave if his work is more important. But come what may, Karpgam orders that Ganga is not leaving with him.

Karpagam then tells Ganga to stay here if she likes and if she has any problems, to go to her mom's house. But no matter what, Karpagam insists that Ganga has to stay in this town with her. Then, Karpagam tells Ganga to come to the kichen to help her with housework. Ganga and KArpagam leave.

Sk's dad tells his son not to worry; he says Karpagam is strong on cetrian points and she is doing this because of her love for her grandson.

Sk's dad leaves and Sk looks thoughtful and upset.

Meanwhile, in Chennai, Subha feeds her mom some pills. Subha tlaks some senti dialogue with her mom. Her mom asks her about Sk. Subha says that Sk is not interested in her; he is already married. Subha's mom says she wants to see Sk. Subha says she'll invite him over the next time he comes over to Chennai. Subha's mom wants to talk to him. Subha says ok, I'll call. /// Do not like this track at all... SK is married, for god's sake!!!!!! ///

Subha calls and talks to Ganga. She asks after Ganga's baby and tells Ganga to take care. Ganga asks Subha how her mom is doing. Subha says her mom'c ondition is still the same. Subha asks for a favor; she says that her mom feels better when she talks to Sk.

Ganga says she'll tell her husband to visit them the next time he goes to Chennai. Ganga also says she will come and visit her as well if possible.

Subha them talks about the IAS exam results which are released tomorrow. Both women which each other good luck and hang up Subha tells her mom that Sk will come for sure.

Subha leaves and her mom watches her in tears.


Next Scene --- KULA IS RELEASED!!!!---
A car arrives in front of Kula's house. Kula exits the car with scary BGM. Karthik, Ila and Muthu are waiting.

Ila insits on doing thristi-suttufying stuff. After that, Kula walks in. Muthu and Kula look at each other in silence before Kula sits down.

Kula angrily says that he will take down everyone who was a cause for his arrest.

Muthu tells him not to keep on increasing the enimity between him and his relations.

Ila tells her mom that what her dad is doing is right; nobody respected her dad and he deserves payback.

Muthu tries to talk some sense into them and asks KArthik to make Kula and Ila understand that revenge is not going to make things better.

Karthik instead grumbles about how none of their so-called relatives helped them in their time of need, not the DSP and not even Ayya. Karthik says that Ayya didn't even respect his sister's husband and was too caught up in pleasing the Collector's family.

Ila says even her own mother didn't care. Muthu glares at Ila.
Ila tells her mom that if she had gone and pleaded to Ayya, he would have made arrangements to release Kula sooner.

Kula tells Ilavanji that he doesn't want his wife begging in front of anyone.

Ila says that luckily Ayya finally decided to arrange for Kula's release.

Kula rises up angrily. HE corrects Ilavanji and says that NOBODY arranged for his release. The person who filed a complaint against him took back the complaint; that's why he is released.

Kula explains his master plan; he will stop Svadivu's marriage, get rid of Ganga's baby 🤢 🤢 ///DISGUSTING FELLOW!!!! what wrong has the baby done?////, separate Ganga from Sk.
Meanwhile, he can watch both Ayya and DSP suffer because of their respective losses.

KArthik is a little shocked, Muthu is devastated and Ila is smiling. Muthu tells Kula to reconsider; she says Ganga has done no harm to them.

Ila again says that her dad is doing what is best for their family. ///CHE! Shameless woman!!!! how can she think of harming an infant? 😡 😡 ///

Muthu tells her daughter that as woman, she should know what her dad is doing is wrong.

Ila tells her mother that she is too concerned with her brother's family and doesn't care about her own family.

Muthu angrily tells her husband and daughter to go do whatever they wish but to remember that they are harming their own family.

Ila tells her dad not to mind what her mom is saying. She and KArthik leave Kula stands and glances at the camera with a villan smile...

Friday's Updates

Hey, I have to go for an internship interview tomorrow so I'm posting a brief updates now! Will post the detailed one later!

Brief Updates

-Ila and Manga go to SVadivu's town to distribute invitations.
-At first, they mistake a beggar to be SVadivu's relative
-Then, they walk around a while and are tired.
-Both of them spot SVadivu talking to someone.
-Svadivu sees them too but Ila and Manga run away.
-Svadivu finds the two and teases them a bit; she says she is super glad that both of them are distributing her wedding invitations Ila says it is her brother-in-law's wedding, that's why. Svadivu says, ya, but I am the one he is marrying; I will soon be your sister... and so on.
-SVadivu gives Ila and Manga directions to her relatives and friends' house She offers Manga an umbrella for the two of them just in case it rains.
-Manga greedily takes the umbrella happily and says that today, she got a new umbrella.
-SVadivu leaves and Ila scolds Manga for shamelessly being so greedy.
-Ila threatens to leave Manga behind and walks away. Manga runs behind her.
-Meanwhile, at Ayakudi, JC and Subbua and Rama and Charu are waiting for the arrival of Ganga and Collector.
-Collector and Ganga arrive all are talking a little bit.
-Then, Karthik arrives with the clothes for the wedding.
-JC welcomes him in and Subbu offers all the guests drinks.
-Karthik talks nicely to them and tells them that he has changed and is no longer angry with them.
-He very nicely sweet-talks for a bit about how the marriage is going to unite the two families and how he is so happy about that.
-Everyone else is happy to hear that he has changed for the better.
-Subbu thanks god that they are all becoming one big family now.
-Karthik then gives out the wedding clothes and tells them to come to the wedding wearing them.
-He tells the Collector to especially show up since it's his first family celebration with them.
-Collector happily agrees and Karthik has a flashback of the bull hitting the statue with the red shirt.
-Karthik smiles deviously as he leaves with JC to go to his mama's house.

-At night, Saravanan comes to visit Aayakudi.
-Ganga and all show him the wedding gift (white and white veshti and shirt and a gold chain).
-Saravanan thanks them.
-Saravan then explains why he came.
-He talks about how Kula is angry with Ayya about the jailing incident and how Kula may not show up for the wedding because of that.
-Ganga tries to convince him otherwise but Sara says that he knows his mama is very stubborn.
-Sara asks Ganga for a favor; he asks her to talk to Ayya and convince him to talk to Kula.
-Sara explains that his dad will get angry if he goes and asks so he wants to ask Ganga for help.
-Subbu and Ganga agree, especially since as the thai-maman, Kula is super important in the wedding ceremony.
-Ganga says she will talk to Ayya once he comes to their house that night.
-Sara thanks them and leaves.

-Last scene, Karthik and Kula discuss their plan.
-Karthik says he has handed the clothes sucessfully.
-They go visit the bull and the bull-master.
-He says all is ready but worries about the wedding getting stopped.
-Kula tells him not to worry and says that the remaining money will be given once the job is done.
-The bull-master introduces an old man and says that this guy is the bull-trainer and he will be the man doing the job.
-The bull's horns are being oiled and sharpened while Kula and Karthik discuss how tomorrow will be the collector's last day.
