Friday's Updates
Scene 1
Ila is sweeping the floor, complaining to herself about the Collector. Natchiya asks her what she is mumbling about. Ila says she is complaining to herself because no-one else listens to her complaints. Natchiya asks her what is wrong, what does she have to complain about? Ila says her husband and her dad were both insulted. Natchiya asks her what she is talking about. Ila sits next to Natchiya and complains about the Collector not signing the papers immediately.
Ila says the Collector is their relative now so he has to help them approve the building of a school. She wonders if they can go and ask Ganga formally. Natchiya tells her that the Collector and Ganga both know about the legalities of the issue. If the Collector is delaying, it means that there are some legal issues that he has to take care of. Ganga also knows about these issues and would not agree immediately. Natchiya tells Ila to mind her own buisness and leaves. Ila makes an angry face.
Next scene, Karpagam is walking on the road. A car stops by her and Kulasekaran gets out. He calls her his relative and she tells him that they have no uravu at all. Kula says they are related thorugh Ganga's marriage. Karpagam says that he only wants bad things for Ganga and her family and she knows his true colors. So, she says she is not ready to belive whatever he says. Kula tells her that she knows him well. HE then tells her unfortunately, she doesn't know her son that well. He tells her that her son's life is in danger and she should go see an astrologer for that.
Scene 2
Karpagam tells her to stop threatening her. She says her son will live long and anyway, it is none of Kula's business. Kula says that Sk is unecessarily delaying the school building issue. Karpagam says he can go complain to Ayya or to the higher ranking authorities if he wants. She tells him to stop bothering her.
Kula says he will face Sk head on. He threathens saying that he has "innoru mugam". He only came to warn her about her son; he tells her she won't be able to handle is anything goes wrong with her son and Ayya also won't be able to handle seeing Ganga widowed. Karpagam says that she knew he would somehow target Ganga- that is the real reason why he is making a big issue out of the school building. She says she knows he wants to make Ganga a "vazhaa-vetti".
She tells him she wont be intimidated by him; She knows what to do with Ganga and doesn't need his advice. Karpgam warns him to mind his own buisness and not tell her what to do with her daughter-in-law. Karpagam walks away looking very annoyed and Kulasekaran glares at the camera angrily.
Meanwhile, Ganga serves Sk coffee. He praises her beauty and tells her she looks super pretty as a mom-to-be. He than tells her that her brother KArthik came to get approval for the college-building documents and Sk says he is verifying everything.
Karpgam gets home. She walks in angrily and she asks Sk why he didn't sign the document given to him. Sk explains to his mom that they have to check everything before approving. He cannot anyhow just sign the document. Karpagam says that Kula is angry about the delay and threatened to kill him off if he didn't cooperate. Sk is annoyed by this; he says Kula is creating unecessary issues just to separate Ganga and her family from Ayya.
Karpagam tells him to take some action against Kula; she says first he threatened Suubu, now he is giving me threats. Sk agrees and says he will take police action against Kula. Karpagam asks Ganga if she is okay with that. Ganga says that she is okay with it; she says that Kula uncle's actions were wrong and anyone who threathened her athai and her family should be dealt with. Sk asks Ganga if they should inform her dad. Ganga says no; she says that if Kula finds out Ayya knew about this, he will create a big scene that Ayya is responsible for it.
Karpagam says Ganga is right; she asks him why he need to check with Ayya. Kula threatened him, not Ayya, and as a collector, he should take action against that. Sk says he will take a very harsh action against Kula so that Kula will ask forgiveness for all the wrongs he has done and will be too scared to harm Ganga's family. Then, both Ayya and he can be at peace. Sk leaves to talk to the DSP; Kapragam too leaves and Ganga looks a little worried now.
Scene 3
Collector and DSP meet about Kulasekaran. Collector informs about all of Kulasekaran'a threats. Sk then asks DSP if his sister's wedding would be affected if they took action against Kula. DSP says that Sarvanan vowed to stay away from Kula so there wont be any issue with the wedding. DSP tells Collector that lathi treatment will cure Kulasekaran. Collector tells DSP not to involve Ayya and gives the complaint. DSP leaves to arrest Kula.
Kula, meanwhile, calls Sk's house. Sk's dad answers the phone. He issues another warning to Sk's dad. Sk's dad tries to reason with him and gets very worried. Kula says he will take care of the DSP and tells Sk's dad to take care of his son. Sk's dad hngs up in shock. Scary BGM plays and the screen splits to show Kula and Sk's dad's faces.
Then, Sk's dad is lost in worry. Sk walks down and asks who was on the phone. Sk's dad says Kulasekaran called. Sk looks angry and worried. Screen freezes on Sk's face.
