HELP DESK: Whom to report (updated)

Dear Indian Idol fans,

If you see an offensive post please don't reply or quote it. Immediately send a PM to one of the moderators or viewbies of Indian Idol section.

For your convenience I am adding all the names below. One of us will be online so click on any one name who you find online and send a PM.

We request all the members to help us keep this section clean. Never bring regionism into this section. All such posts will be trashed and member's warning meter raised.

Now some Dos & Don'ts for this section to make our journey smooth for another few months:

1. Constructive criticism of Indian idol contestants is always welcome because it makes interesting debates and discussion topics but at no time would we tolerate destructive criticism of members of this forum or contestants.

2. Please don't post same topics again and again and don't turn the topics into chat.

3. Do not provide personal details like your phone number, e-mail id and home address to members you hardly know.

4. Hate clubs are not allowed.

5. Please refrain from starting meaningless threads like I am bored😛 or where is everyone?

6. Personal attacks, rudeness, or insult to others will not be tolerated. The moderators reserve the right to remove or lock offensive posts without notice.

7. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. A warning will be send to such members. If no replies then multiple accounts deactivated.

8. No advertising or spamming is allowed.

9. If a member harasses you then immediately contact one of the II moderator, channel or global moderator.

10. Members are requested not to advertise their yahoo groups or sites on IF posts, through PMs or as signature links. Any such post will be deleted without notice.

11. Pictures should only be posted in picture gallery. All other posts with pictures shall be removed without notice.

Any member found not following the above rules would receive

1st offense: a friendly warning through PM
2nd offense: a public warning on this section or a strict warning through PM
3rd offense: member will be banned by admin.

but sumtimes we wanna refer to some picture...like in a fanclub and discuss it...then can we post that pic in the thread? 😊

do u mean the pMS that the members recieve?of corse we cant.that is very personal and none of can view those.

so why does it say that we cannot send yahoo groups/links/emails and all thru PM's,

i dont get it, first u all say for personal things, plz use pm...den for these thigns it says we can't send them thru PM's

thas y i was confused..i thut maybe u guyz cud read the PM's, thas y ur telling us not to send them thru PM's

wat rong in it tho? i understand not on posts...but why not thru PM's?

megha!! we expect that each member of IF be loyal to this forum and don't misuse IF's PM service to advertise their private forums. don't you think it is fair to expect that?

but actually yahoo groups are fine as that's exactly not a rival of IF. still we appreciate if all the tv lovers stick to IF and enjoy posting after all our motto is to bring all tv viewers under one umbrella and that is India forums.
