Even I am Mumbaikar and my mom was a working woman before she retired. So I have seen this bhagam bhag.Dont know from where these women get that kind of strength. Hats off to Terrence and Shakti for such superb concept and execution. The moves were so fast but Shakti did it without any mistakes.

Shakti was mindblowing today 👏 Nobody could have done justice to that act other than Shakti ⭐️

It kinda reminded me of Tisca chopra from Taare zameen par. Even though Tisca portrayed a house-wife, the Dhaudam-Bhaaga during the morning rush hours to send kids off to school was portrayed well by Tisca, imo. Shakti reminded me of Tisca in some parts of the act.

Also, i think it was a tribute to all mothers, not only working women. Indian mothers have a special thing in them. They tend to sacrifice their needs for the needs of their children and family, which i don't find in western women. just my opinion. 😃

I am from Mumbai too..and all the bhaag daud in local trains..subah 6:10 ki local pakdo, 7:45 ko college fr 8:10 ke classes....😔 aur ghar shaam ko 8 baje aao..woh bhi college life mein..where I did not have to cook...I saw many women, peeling green peas, and plucking Methi leaves etc in the train so they can go home and start making dinner.. 😕

Shakti was mindblowing...I wrote this on some other thread. Will repost it here:
OMG! I was so tearful while watching the comments that she got, especially Terence's reaction. She portrayed the role of a working woman to such a T. Its not easy to get that feeling of being a mother, and that of a working woman, when she herself is not one

The saree chosen was such a perfect one. Those cotton silk sarees were the ones that my mom used to wear to work too. The alarm clock, the act of making rotis, especially I loved the part where she was sukhaoing clothes onto the cloth line (she even put those clips onto the clothes, which was so cute). Lastly, the kid..when he calls her on the phone saying "Ghar kab aaoge" reminded me so much of my ownself..coz I used to do that every single day, calling my mom up at 5 and asking her when she would come home.

Such a touching concept, only Terence could have thought of..I rewinded the time few years back

This is why I love that girl. She doesn't indulge in that drama and sympathy stories and itraana that other contestants do. Even when she's praised, she just smiles and says thanks. Compare that to Amrita for example, who starts thanking people and itraa itraa ke hasna as if she's just won an Oscar or something.
