I've been watching her on TV since Bhaskar Bharti and found her comic timing on that show to be right on the spot....She's always been good with comedy, but it's rare to find an actress who just as good in her emotional scenes as she is in her comic scenes.....In the last few epis, ever since she was told that she "isn't marriage material", she got the opportunity to display her character's vulnerability and emotional side......And I have to say that she was simply fabulous in all her scenes! She made me believe that she was truly in love with Sid and was heartbroken after getting dumped.....The composure, restraint and understated emotion with which she was shown crying was brilliant.....If a lesser actress was essaying the role of Suhana, I don't think I would've felt anything for her character's pain, especially since I found the basis of Suhana and Sid's relationship to be rather shallow in the first place.....But because Ragini is such a mature actress, she actually made me feel her character's turmoil.....In this day and age of asthmatic, hyperventilating TV actresses who rely more on making forced crying faces and random shivering to bring forth their emotions, it's really refreshing to see an actress like Ragini who uses more subtle techniques to convey misery while remaining effective all the same.....

I agree with chronic. She is one of the most finest actress i have ever seen in indian TV...from radha ki Betiyan,Bhaskar bharti and now SGP..........She has done full justice to each of her roles......I believe she is the most underrated actress in Hindi TV.....She has always chosen hatke types of roles which went unnoticed because of the stupid TRP tactics of SONY and imagine....even in BB,hardly people noticed her acting which made the show go off air : ( Why cant the Indian audience accept new concepts like BB..I just dont understand.. But now i'm glad that she is a part of Star plus...she is getting limelight which she deserved much before....hate Sony for ending BB..die Sony die😡

Actually I was watching good old episodes of BB in youtube and by this post,i'm taking out all my irritation and frustation regarding BB going off air 😆

Ragini is really very good actress. She is not just funny but also does emotional scene very well. I loved her acting when she is trying to convince Sid that she loves him and can not leave without him.

She was very good in Radha ki betiyaa also.

I was never a BB fan, so cannot comment on Ragini's acting there, except for seeing her in a few stray episodes.

But so far what I've seen in this serial, I do think that she is a very talented actress. Her ease at portraying Suhana is definitely commendable. At times I did find her character too outlandish, but in the past few days, after she got rejected by that nincompoop, she's displayed a wide variety of emotions from heartbroken to determined, however misguided it may be. Her vulnerability at being spurned is very well conveyed.

@underlined: Definitely agree! She's highly underrated in the TV industry as an actress, which is rather unfortunate, cuz as far as I've seen, she's one of the better younger actresses on TV currently....Hope she gets her due with SGP.....

Sony seems quick to cancel most of their shows that don't do as well as they expected them too....Well personally I think the channel itself doesn't give its own shows a chance to perform better ratings-wise by hardly ever showing promos of their shows and thrusting them in strange time-slots.....BB was a great show with a fresh concept that deserved SO much more from the channel than it received, so I totally understand your frustration :-)

@Swiss Mallu: Yep, I too enjoyed that scene....but mostly for the acting rather than the fact that she was shown almost pleading to him to accept her, which is a move I don't quite agree with.....I don't think any woman (or man, for that matter) should have to grovel to anyone in order to gain acceptance from them, though her acting there was convincing enough for me to look past that and appreciate the scene nonetheless....

I was never exactly a regular viewer of BB either.....I only caught a few epis, but from the little I did see of her in that show, I felt she did a great job.....

LOL, I find her character a little OTT at times as well (especially when she throws plates, vases, etc. around randomly)....but yes, she's been mellow in the last few epis and I'm hoping that, even though I'm not expecting it to happen overnight, her tendency to chuck tupperware around at her whim will also cease and that she becomes less of a brat in general.....Basically it will be nice to see the evolution of her character and the way Ragini portrays it......The USP of this show IMO is the fact that there are no negative characters with loud make-up and sparkling sarees (yet!), it keeps the atmosphere light and at least semi-believable.....
