Ok guys, am due for a short break due to an impending conference. So thought i would put my queries into thoughts for us to banter? All in the name of healthy fun. So, bash away!
1. The night is stormy and the winds work up their fury into a frenzy. He stands all unarmed and he stands all alone! Then all hell breaks loose as he lets his stick fly, menacing, lethal, and accurate! (Chalia sees the Gopikas drool!).
But folks, let me ask you to ponder a little! Did the gopikas watch that dhoti as it danced along his calves in synchrony with the furious winds? A sixty year old man? (Chalia frowns) Ok, the drool pool grows in proportion.
2. She stands in the shadows watching him furtively. Her lips move in silent prayer as she watches him combat the elements all alone. The elements of nature in synchrony with the elements of evil mankind swirl around him in the inky darkness. This man who she loves above all and yet treats with disdain! Suddenly she sees him crumble in pain, sees his life's blood oozing from the flesh wound on his arm. She tears a strip off her "synthetic" sari and binds it around the wound. Was that yearning i glimpse in both sets of eyes? (Chalia see the Sanrajikas drool and sigh!)
Yes, i am about to ask the obvious. How on earth did she manage to tear a strip off the "synthetic" cloth? Would her cotton petticoat not be a better alternative? Its ok. Ekta just stole it from all the Bollywood flicks to date, where women effortlessly rip strips off pallus, dupattas or skirts. Ok, the Sanrajikas frown in unison. How dare this woman find such an error? Lets attack!😆
3. What does this night hold for these two weary travellers who have lost connection👏 with the
"real" world. Is he going to go into that predictable swoon due to blood loss or fatigue? Is she going to look for that veritable little hutment for shelter against the elements and to find those elusive "jari-bhootis" in the pouring rain in an effort to save this man who she pretends to detest?
The drool pool assumes gargantuan proportions as it threatens to overflow! (Chalia hears frantic whispers of a repeat roll in the hay/roop tera mastana/or did i just hear the stork?)
Is it humanly possible for this "old" (sorry! Chalia runs for cover) man to combat ten "young"
men and win too? Its ok. Its Ektaland and "all is possible and probable". Hey, she is laughing all the way to the bank!
DM saab, "mauka bhi hai, dastoor bhi hai, haque bhi hai! Bus, Aye Sannntuuudi ki kami hai!" Have fun and help us watch Moti tear her hair out in desperation!
Aal iiz well in la la land! The countdown begins as the Gopikas and the Sanrajikas begin their coma vigil in hope of a hot episode to come!
But Ekta is an honourable woman, so are they all, all honourable men, the CVs. And there are promises to keep!
