Pretty dull episode, and needlessly dragged out. In the past, whenever something happened, the next scene was @ the next point. Case in point: Brij throws Sushma down the stairs, next episode starts @ hospital. Same thing could have been done here instead of showing the bellyaching @ home.
And although Padma has been less than fair to Sushma wrt Poonam, I don't blame her here. Jyoti came up w/ this daft idea, and now, her daughter is in hospital. Speaking of hospital, this is the second time that Sushma has been injured, and nothing's happened to her fetus? This defies credulity. She is hit by a car, which is normally enough to kill someone, and not only she, but her fetus survives? 😲
This time, I don't blame Poonam at all - appropriate time or not. She is right - as she noted, not a day goes by w/o some crisis or another. One day, it's a family tension on the divorce, another day, it's a family tension on a jeweler... Here, after a while, Deepu takes a half day off (how often is he going to get it?) to spend w/ her and her parents, and up pops this crisis. I don't blame her for hating Jyoti - I would too, had I been in her shoes.
Finally - that bhashan that Sushma gave - borrrrrrrrrring!!!! Although, she'd have saved herself all the grief had she given it a day earlier. But it was just a whole lot of rhona-dhona, and seriously, her classmates are to be sympathetic w/ her for being betrayed, after taking a stupid decision to marry b4 she was out of school? I'm sure some of these classmates had bf/gfs of their own - none of them chose to drop out and marry, so why should they be sympathetic to Sushma on this score? Also, as QY pointed out yesterday, while a handful of kids may be that way, most kids would either be sympathetic, or avoid such a girl like the plague. What they showed was as unrealistic as Sushma getting up after such an injury and walking back to school, with just a bandaid on her forehead.
What if Brij had turned out to be a loving & productive hubby? You can bet she wouldn't have returned. Sorry, while I support education for everyone who wants it, this is a bad vehicle w/ which to promote this.
Anyway, I'm guessing that from this point on, her schooling will be normal. Can we get back to Kabir tomorrow?
Thanks for the update, SkR!
