Well, guyz I've opened this topic so we all can discuss what you like/dislike love/hate about this serial Jyoti. Plz share ur opinions too! I've always been a regular viewer of this forum. post karna bas abhi abhi shur kiya hai.

1. If Neelam's father is under so much debt then from where does he get 1 crore to offer Jyoti besides the 1 crore offer by Bhairavi? agar uske paas itna paisa hai to apna debts clear kyun nahin karta. what kind of father is he? selling his daughter to vashist family. 1 thing more he cud have demanded for pratik - a bachelor. what makes him choose a divorced & blind husband for his daughter 😕 if meenal's FIL said pratik had to marry neelam not pankaj to bring meenal back then i'm sure bhairavi pankaj ka nahin pratik ke peeche bhagti 😆😆🤣

2. Pankaj was always shown as a perfect loving husband. ab kya huwa... i know jyoti ne pure 1 saal se jhoot pe jhoot bolke khud apne per pe kuladi marli. i can understand that pankaj is really hurt kyun ki usek man me jyoti ki mahaan chhabi thi jo tutgayi. uparse blind hai bechara kuch dekh nahin pata. ab behcara yekin kare to kis par. confuse hai thora nahin bahut hi 😕par common give him some time to get over it. jaise hi woh kuch sochne lagta hai Bhairavi ake uska brainwash karti hai. bechara kaise sochega. uparse blind hone ka inferiority complex develop hogaya hai. ego hurt hogayi hai.😡😡 divorce ke din jab sudha use bulane gayi thi toh shayad kuch kehna chahata tha par bhairavi toh bhairavi hai. if pankay gets to go back to flashbacks with a cool mind then maybe uski galat phemi door hojaye aur woh bhairavi ko apne life se dafa karde aur uske mooh se nikle Chhoti maa get out of my life!!!!😍👏

3. I guess ab koi nahin chahata ke jyoti go back to pankaj. lekin jab mein woh purani pankaj ko yaad karti hun 😍to i want jyoti to go back to him. yeh naya wala pankaj mujhe bilkul pasand nahin. hume yeh kabhi nahin bhulna chahiye ki jitna pankaj ne jyoti ke liye kiya tha woh kisine nahin kiya. jab sudha jail se chhoti toh it was pankaj jisne usko sahara diya. jab jyoti left her home after knowing her mom is not her real mom, pankaj ne hi use sahara diya. sucide karne se roka. pata nahin kahan khogaya woh pankaj. creatives ne bas aisehi bechare ko villain wala kaam de diya hai jo use bilkul suit nahin karta. creatives bring back the positive pankaj😳

4. Yeh jo naya banda ka entry huwa hai Kabir. well thik hai.... lekin i doubt. mujhe lagta hai ke agar jyoti phir se shaadi kar bhi le. she won't be able to dedicate her life to her hubby or sasural waale. woh baar baar apne maayke mein ayegi aur problems solve karegi. kyun ki uska maayka problems ka akhada hai🤣 full of never ending problems. phirse wahi sab kuch hoga jo pankaj ke ghar me huwa.

5. What if Kabir proposes jyoti. aur usi waqt entry hojaaye uski best friend kalpana ki. aur jaise hi jyoti apne past ke baare mein kabir ko batana chahe kalpana use rokle aur kahe use taklif hogi kuch mat batana.😳🤣

6. Jyoti mein jo sabse achi bat lagti thi woh thi uday aur sudha ki love track which isn't shown nowadays.😭The switching of devika-sudha was simply awesome. aur sudha's treatment was one of the best things shown in the serial. multiple-personality disorder ko bahut achi tarike se deal kiya. i luved it.

7. Sushma ke school jaane ke baare mein toh sab jaante hain. nonsense track shown in my opinion. sudha ki tarah ghar bethke padhai nahin karsakti kya. open exams ka option nahin hai kya.

Right now bas itna hi yaad hai. kuch aur yaad aya toh i'll write in another post. No matter how many complains I have regarding this show. I can't stop myself from watching this show. najaane kyun....😕😳

Well, in simple words , the thing I like in Jyoti is Jyoti and the thing I dislike is also Jyoti. lol

Point number 5 you have mentioned abt Kalpana is reallllllllllllly funny 😆 😆 😆

Sushma's school going track is purely unnecessary and I dont want to see a bag of problems coming to the Sharma family because of this...ME NO LIKEY

CM's panic situation when Pank asked her who in the Vashisht family would threaten the newspaper editor to stop Jyoti's articles.. ME LIKEY...

I want to see CM in more and more panic situations like this.. So I would like the creatives to focus more on the negative family and teach them a lesson rather than giving more and more problems to the depressed Sharma family...leave them alone

i dont like anything annoying drama...annoying jyoti she is just tooo much! she is being too much granny deciding too much man...just carry whatever is in your life b4!!!!

Thanks for starting this topic. The thing that first got my attention on this serial (I don't watch others) was the concept of a girl instead of marriage living a single life throughout happily w/ her own family. This was badly poisoned by Padma - had it not been for her, both Jyoti and Sudha could have been perfect daughters. Instead, unlike w/ other girls in other serials, marriage was the best thing to happen to them to get them out of abusive relationships.

One thing I seriously dislike about this serial is the short term memory of CVs - like for instance, there is no continuity b/w the Bhairavi who one day spotted Sudha in a market returning her credit card and thinking that she'd be a perfect bahu, and then turning against her when Pankaj/Jyoti returned from their honeymoon.

Good point - I wondered the same thing here as well about where he has 1 crore. And yeah - doesn't Kesav-ji know of Pratik? Once the thing w/ Uday didn't work, couldn't he have suggested Pratik as an alternative?

Pratik too could have been a solution, except that if one has memories, he had Sajni already, who Minal herself brought to Pankaj's wedding to give him company. But seriously, Pratik is a fun loving guy - do you really want to give him a girl who already loves someone else? Hitch him up w/ Sajni, and have Sudha help organize her marriage - she'll be so much happier than @ Pankaj's.

Part of Pankaj's anger was completely justified - @ Jyoti lying to him, etc. But part of his anger - @ Jyoti having a love life b4 she met him - is just inexplicable. If this was so big w/ him, he should have brought it up then.

Pankaj was loving, but he was also extremely geekish and too attached to CM. Like whenever there is a showdown b/w CM & Sudha, Uday always takes Sudha's side, and recently has read CM the riot act so that CM doesn't dare make Sudha's life miserable anymore (other than devise ways to torture Jyoti) But whenever there was a showdown b/w CM & Jyoti, Pankaj sometimes would try and explain things to Jyoti, and sometimes make a gentle case to CM. CM is not the type that can be gently persuaded - she has to be rudely confronted. The only people who have done that so far are Dayal uncle and Basu. Had Pankaj read CM the riot act on how to behave w/ Jyoti, her marriage would have been so much happier.

So yeah, I agree that Pankaj was considerate (the best example as you point out above being when he stood up for Sudha when she was under a cloud), but due to CM, what he deserves is a Neelam, not a Jyoti.

To be fair to Jyoti, her problem wasn't that she was dedicating her life to her maayka. Her problem was that she was running after Sushma, and since the Vashisths had no inkling of a Sushma, she had to make up stories on where she was on so many occasions. Whenever she was out to see Sudha, she never lied to anybody, and since Uday was in love w/ the latter, Sudha happened to be a Vashisth parivar interest as well 😆 At any rate, had Jyoti been trying to, say, get KK treated or something like that, I doubt anyone in the Vashisth family would have minded.

Also, after the heist, Jyoti did spend some months completely @ her sasural, and MN&G were completely impressed. So her problem is that if her sasural has problems of their own, she'll put them ahead of her maayka, but if they don't, she won't. So if she does marry Kabir, I hope that his folks have enough problems/handicaps that forces Jyoti to be a housewife, so that she doens't have time to chase Sushma, Poonam, Deepu or Sudha.

I think Kalpana realizes her mistake, even though she won't admit it, and I doubt she'll advise Jyoti to withold anything again. Besides, Jyoti too has learned - if she tells Kabir everything, he'll probably accept her, but not b4 giving her a few bhashans 😆🤣. I do wish they'd bring someone in for Kalpana too. Oh, and have some old geezer date & marry CM, and take her out of the Vashisth parivar, sans Suday.

Yeah, most people have come up w/ the same observation. Maybe someone could suggest that to Sneha, while she pitches her Jyoti foundation.

btw I almost forgot. How can I forget abt mahendra nath & gayatri. I really don't know what 2 call them – hopeless or helpless. 😉They don't defend Jyoti no matter how much bhairavi insults her. No doubt coz gayatri cudn't say a single word when her own brother was being insulted by bhairavi. I mean come on give me a break. At least she tell bhairavi that she can't talk like that 2 her brother. Or at least mahendra nath shud have told bhairavi this is not the way 2 talk like that. He's gayatri's brother. But nope, all they do is listening Bhairavi's nonsense bakwaas, looking at him getting insulted & simply making faces as if they're going to start crying like a baby. That's it! I'm fed up this. Just bcoz bhairavi brought up pankaj doesn't mean she has more adhikar on pankaj. If that's so then gayatri shud have adhikar on uday n meenal. After all, she brought up them as bhairavi was more attached with pankaj. But bhairavi has adhikar all over the vashisth family whether it's pankaj or uday. 😡😡She takes the decision. Why doesn't she go 2 mumbai like last time? I just can't stand her anymore aur uparse that meenal. Khud taklif mein hain lekin doosro ko taklif dene mein use koi taklif nahin. 😆

Kab sabak sikhayenge bhairavi aur meenal ko? Kya bhairavi ki paap ki ghada bhari nahin hai kya???🤣 Creatives r just showing jyoti getting in2 troubles all the time. I don't think just by showing her in trouble can increase the TRPs of the show. The creatives really need 2 think abt this.

ya i want that pankaj 2 go 2 that editor n know the truth instead of asking his choti maa who did it. it's really high time 2 teach her a lesson. i want 2 c her in big trouble

well vrisha, gr8 analysis of wat i wrote. honestly even i wudn't want pratik 2 get hitched 2 that neelam. just a wild thought, why his name didn't come in any1's mind. the biggest question is where is he nowadays? nobody even mentions abt him in any episodes.

talking abt pankaj supporting CM. well there were times where he supported jyoti. in fact there were many times where he thought CM was wrong n supported jyoti. he used 2 tell jyoti there's no need 2 say sorry 2 choti maa. par jyoti toh jyoti hai. no matter even if CM's fault she wud go n say sorry 2 CM. that was 1 thing that i never liked at all. i wondered why did she ever have 2 say sorry 2 that stupid CM.😲 how i hate her so much😡😡😡... i mean CM.😡

i'm waiting 4 a sharp turn n twist in the serial hope 2 c it soon!

I completely agree with all above post but One problem with Jyoti is Th CV have very little memory & the way they show these show is always dramatic.....One event takes place after another ..Jyoti can never take a good breath....There is lack of continuity of characters & Story tracks..These week they have not shown Vasishts...

Like every TV serial these CV s had not shown Jyoti & Pankaj as eternal couple They had more focused on Jyoti character but i think if they had more focused on Jyoti's love with Pankaj then the TRP of the show would have been high...........Same goes for Uday & Sudha ... these guys hardly show them..where they are so likeable...These the mistakes of Creative

The reason for Jyoti & Pankaj love track less might be It was fixed from before that They will get divorce

One thing about MN&G - I wish somebody, if not them, perked up and reminded Bhairavi that she's the younger bahu of that household. Normally, I don't support widows being insulted for being widows, but in this case, I think they should try it out w/ her. After all, here is someone who ostentatiously all the time talks about the Vashisth parivar as if she personifies it. Yet, she lives her life like the best thing that ever happened to her was her hubby dying.

I do wish she gets serially insulted and humiliated by the people who previously dreaded her. Already, Jyoti & Sudha have started, and I hope Gayatri-ji and others join. And the day it is discovered that she pimped Pankaj for Minal's sake, I hope MN perks up and tells her to leave - without Uday or Sudha. But she can take Minal if she likes.
