What did Terence Mean?

I am not sure if this topic is already running or not....

Last week Terence said that he couldn't have done "Avatar" performance last season - he gave full credit for this amazing perforamnce to Shakti and Amar, but how many of you think that this performance could not have been possible last season?

I personally think that from guys Jai Kumar could have carried it off gracefully just as Amar did - about girls, I think Alisha was pretty versatile, though I got to admit that Shakti outstanding in this performance.

Avtar was realsed only this year Zee.. so he got the idea from it for this season.. .. I guess that's what he meant..

Last year also we saw wonderful contestants, i guess saying only this year contestants can do the justice is not right.. Jay and vrushali or Alisha would have done this as good as Shakti and Amar..

Yes , Terence said that and I was bit surprised to hear that from him !!

As per my understanding he meant that this year contestants are better in term of dancing and ready for any challenges !!!
He has made similar comment before also , while audition or after audition. not sure.

And I agree that Jai Nair, Alisha, Vrushali , Mayuresh would have done great justice to the act - I think Terence just got carried away a little with the avtar performance and made that comment -

that is exactly what I understood and was quiet suprised by his statement, but U R right...he got carried away 😳

Agree Nishi, I think he sad what we heard but I too think he got carried away I guess...I think Jai and Vrushali could do a good job too...

actaully when i watched the avatar act i had a flashback

of the junglee act by mayuresh and vrushali

so im sure they would have been able to caarry it beautifully

i think he meant it because avatar wasnt out back then

He did not have someone as talented as Shakti last year. That is what he meant.

Whatever he had meant, it doesnt matter to me, as I am sure Jai wouldnt have been able to do it with the same effect as Amar, but Mayuresh would have nailed it... Alisha wouldnt have done it the same way as Shakti, but Vrushali would have come closer to it, but still Shakti exceeded both of them in the Avatar act.. Kalari is not as easy as it looks to be! It consists of a lot of extreme stretching and it can give you a lot of muscle and body aches in the first few days and weeks, unless you are super flexible when you begin! Shakti has that flexibility and so she out-shined Amar too in that act. Just my two pennies! 😊

Mayuresh and Vrushali did the African Jungle act last season, and apart from the animal characters, their act was nothing like the Kalari and didnt involve the same kind of stretches or postures...

well what i think is that TL was trying to say that last season even if he had this kind of creatively different idea, his contestans(namely jai and alisha) would ve done it but not the way amar and shakt di did it. avatar act was more abt flexibility than versitality naa.😊
