Why Javed gave only 5 points to Shaan's team?

The only possible explanation I could come out with was that due to his old age, he had a temporary memory loss and forgot counting beyond 5.

*sigh* Judges come under certain genres. Javed Akhtar is in that category of judges that tries to send a "message" with is points. Also, he knows that by giving a ridiculously low score, it will draw attention to him. Expect a 5 or a 6 for these reasons:
1. You sound like the original.
2. The song was too easy/there wasn't that much singing in it.
3. You picked a legendary old song or one of his and you said one of the words wrong.
4. Same as above, but you consistently mispronounced one word. (like saying phir as fir instead of pir)
6. He doesn't like you and he thinks you should have gone home a long time ago. Any score that he gives you doesn't make a difference, because the janta is stupid (as in they don't agree with him) and will save you anyway.

my best guess is that he is getting his rozi roti thru Shankar's movies 😆😆😆..look at Farhan Akhtar's movies...all of them have Shankar Ehsaan Loy as movie direstors and Javed Akhtar as lyricist...they are a team !!!

I just watched the episode on You Tube. All I can say about Javed Saab is " What the hell were you thinking??".

remmeber, JAVED akter ain't music director, ain't singer, ain't film director , ain't actor. all he is is a lyricist or song writer.

when did a song writer try to act too smart on national TV and judge top singers like SHAAN? HHAA, POWER AND GREED is what is going on in bollywood these days.

i think top lyricist SAMEER should come to shows and let JAVED AKHTER sing or write his flop lyrics.

he is acting as if he is multi talented like Himesh Reshammiya or an actor like SHARUKH KHAN.

i don't like JAVED in bollywood shows, concerts. he is always there in public places and act as if he is an actor, singer, music director, millionairer, owner or something big,

HE IS JUST A SONG WRITER, THAT'S IT.

I AM GLAD my hero Himesh is out of the show cos this JAVED may have said the same nonsense thing to multi talanted Himesh Reshammiya.

I know JAVED and shankar are great freinds.

Hey Buddy: You have a "different" outlook. Javed Saab may have acted crazy this time, but he is lot more than JUST A SONGWRITER.

Also, please don't compare a sadakchap lyricist to Javed saab.
