To make way for Anandi to study for her exams she is sent into a coma, thus playing with audience emotions. Of course Avika's exams are important but they could have shifted the track to some other couple and developed Saguna/ Shyam track or maybe focus on Basant etc.
Why play with emotions especially of those people who may have identified with the little bahu?
