If there's one thing Ragini doesn't have, it's an ego problem. Even when she hated Sadhna, she was shown as selfish, not an egomaniac. Vasu is the ego-centric person in Bidaai.
If Ragini brings Salekh back together, it's not because she's trying to compete with Sadhna's greatness, but because she truly wants to bring happiness back in her sister's life, and she knows Sadhna's happiness lies with Alekh. There's a difference.

I don't quite understand where this ego/ competitive attribution to ragini is coming from. Her consious, her regret and her remorse is her redemption. I don't think Ragini is trying to prove anything to anyone, she is sticking by what she believes is true. She's not trying to be above sadhna, she nevers has, she pittied her even when she felt she was wrong. She cried for her, because she couldn't understand why her sister would want to hurt her (not realising she didn't).
Now that she's aware of all the sacrifices sadhna has made, she has realised that her sister was not at fault. Therefore she will now support her. Why are we exaggerating ragini's wrong in order to prove sadhna's good. Sadhna is very good, ragini fell short, but ragini is still a good person. God forbid if we ever misunderstand someone, that we will be insulted in such a way ragini is and told we can only be redeemed by falling on both knees...goodness me....😕
Everone seems to be forgetting that ragini really did suffer as a result of sadhna actions, regradless of whether sadhna was ultimately correct in what she did.

^ Agreed Sonya85!
Ragini is not by any stretch of the imagination a bad person!
Sadhna did choose to sacrifice her sister's happiness for an abstract truth - thats how Ragini saw it and I sympathize with that. It seems that each has hurt the other only like people who really care about each other can. Now they'll make up and all will be well!
And I don;t think they compete with each other - the competition is in the minds of the viewers!

@ bold That's so true! You are bang on! When Ragini does things for Sadhna, she doesn't think: Sadhna's done this and this for me, so I should do this and this, since doing so will balance out the greatness/sacrifice meter or Ragini will one-up Sadhna..
Ragini has never competed with Sadhna for anything, and she most certainly doesn't have an ego problem. The dance competion was a trick by Vasu and fate, otheriwse the sisters wouldn't be competing against each other!

like the others here have said, i too love the way you sumed up your words.! and yes, it is a refreshing change to see ragini getting her senses back!
during their "fight" i was more mad at raigini than with sadhna for keeping mum and for not standing up for herself. i was mad at ragini because ragini knew all the hardships sadhna's had to go thru all her life, and she's always had very few people really care of her. for ragini to decide to go against her, really upset me.

like you post nicely written. The circumstances around us made us do what we never thought before even in a nightmare. Same thing did happen with the character of Raagni she herself made her problems with Saadha larger than life. Well I must say hatsoff to the character of Saadha that she even on facing such things from Raagni and her mother still went to extrem extends to save her maami jee

Aboslutely true!! at first I couldn't understand why people felt the need to go so harshly against ragini for the sake of sadhna, and vice versa, but you've hit the nail on the head! a battle/ competition has been created between the two of them by viewers, but neither sadhna nor ragini are a part of it. They are oblivious to such cruel motives, and too innocent to have such mindsets as some seem to think they have. I continue to emphasise that it's all to do with misunderstanding and external factors, rather than bad intentions, which caused their disunity. Now that this has become evident, they will unite and hopefully remain steadfast in understanding eachother against all opposition.
