Well said... but what really happens in the episodes is different to what most of us expect to happen ... its typical of creatives to keep Jyoti dumb in important turning points.. even though she lost the first chance to open her mouth , she kept getting few more chances to speak up... I was quite surprised by the way the judge was taking Jyoti's side... are judges really this sensitive? Shouldnt they just be looking at the case details and issue a judgment based on evidences gathered??
Yes, she didnt have a lawyer but atleast she had someone to support her (Kalpana)... why cudnt the judge call Kalp to explain on behalf of Jyoti when he clearly saw that Jyoti was standing there like she is dumb...instead , he was asking the loud one to be quiet and the quiet one to be loud.. ridiculous.. 😆 😆
Even after the judge gave her a chance, Jyoti cudnt tell more than what she actually told finally...which is sort of ok but not strong enough... after all, why does she even care about CM's image when her own image has gone so down in front of these many ppl... grrrrr... We'll have to wait and see what loser Pankaj says tomorrow.. after seeing some of the episodes which end so much in suspense but the next day episode turns out to be pretty lame, I have given up waiting with so much eagerness as I used to before 😆 😆
examples : Deepu asking Padma Rs.100 when Poonam comes to his place first time..
Padma yelling at Jyoti not to have dance classes at home..
there cud be more...the episodes that followed these ones were quite lame and the suspense was for no reason... its more like watching scary movie where thr is no real scare but its just for a laugh...ha ha ha...

Fabulous episode today, minus Padma's little spiel about getting Deepu-Poonam on a honeymoon again. Luckily, KK finally gives her a fitting reply today!!
Coming to the courtroom scene... Kalpana was amazing today, speaking up for Jyoti and clearing her name from many allegations. Even Jyoti did a great job of speaking up, and the only one looking like an idiot today was Pankaj. And like u mentioned, I'm so glad she brought the topic of her condition up in court... and from what the judge said it looks like they're going to have documents made. Pretty obv, but maybe not totally willingly, Pankaj will agree to her condition.
Overall a pretty eventful episode!👏

I found today's episode a bit tedious to watch up untill Jyoti decided to speak, then she kicked ass!
Im glad she didn't give a long bhashan about utter nonsesne and just spoke plain simple truth.
I also liked how she said that she can prove Pnakaj wrong in one second if she wanted to. More than Pankaj, this seemed to put CM in her place, that Jyoti could very easily get back at her and destroy her daughter's life, but she chooses not to.
Also, why were Neelam's parents looking so relieved when Jyoti said she wanted a divorce? Kal ko, if this same thing happens with their daughter, what will they do? They should take this as a warning that Pankaj is obviously a very deeply emotional and unstable kinda guy who can be extremely judgemental, and is extremely proud too (pointed out very clearly by Jyoti)
Also, im glad that Jyoti put her condition of Pankaj having no rights what-so-ever over her child because I was almost 100% sure that this was how he would get Jyoti back in his life later; try and have a custody battle over their child, because there was no written and signed document.
But still, he hesitated. Even then, I don't think, after today, where Pankaj didn't even bother to defend Jyoti's honour, she will taken him back even if he comes to his senses.
What was the whole point of the dadi-Sushma convo? Is she trying to get ideas about how to be independant?
Thanks for the update Virsha

Pankaj said"main is aurat ke saath nahi rahna chata"................how disrespectfull..............instead he could have said "main jyoti ke saath nahi rahna chata".............just change of one word and he could have shown some respect to lovely time they spent together............but no like a true MCP..........he kept quite when all alegations were being imposed on jyoti..........................PANKAJ IS A BIG LOOSER😲

I knew it!
I've mentioned this before that there would be an emotional scene where Jyoti would have to take her sinddor and mangalsutra off while crying dramatically.
So I guess Pankaj said yes to the condition about not having any relation with his child. Good, now him and the Vashishts can suffer with Neelam and her possible dark past (may it be pregnancy or some sort of disease/condition). Then I hope they see what a huge mistake it was to mistrust Jyoti and kick her out.
And if CM was insecure with Jyoti thinking that Jyoti wanted the position of power, I will love to see her face when Neelam takes the position of power from her forcefully and there will be nothing she can do about it for the sake of Meenal and her fickle FIL
As for Jyoti, I want her to start her life afresh and move away from the Sharma's and their negativity, but she'll never do that because then they'll all go poor and hungry (just imagine, 7 adults (including Jyoti) and 2 fetuses live off the 2 salary's of one girl)
I don't understand why KK can't get a job like Jyoti, typing newspaper articles. His legs may not work, but his hands sure do. And Poonam, miss 'I'm from such a rich family and am much better than you', Im pretty sure is educated. Why can't she get a job to funfill her ridiculous needs?
Say Jyoti moves out, and along with Deepu, KK, and either Poonam or Sushma (or both) earn even a little, life will be much better for them, and Jyoti can really move on, and raise her child away from the influence of Padma, the idiocity of Sushma, and the general saaya of the Vashishts
Maybe meet someone worthy of her who's not such a judgemental coward (amogst other things)
Not like it's even going to happen, but I can hope right?

The mangal-sutra being returned - is that what they showed, or were you going by my promo update? When Jyoti first returned, she was unsure of whether she should be wearing it until Sushma, that cultural genius, told her that regardless of how their hubbies treated them, they owed it to their culture to keep on those symbols of marriage. How idiotic! I don't like CM, but I'm glad she forced this issue. If Jyoti is so attached to them, let her find a new hubby.
I do hope that when Neelam starts either behaving in ways that totally alienate MN&G, as well as Suday, CM is left isolated and having to defend her alone, just as Padma alone has to defend her majesty Poonam. In the past, CM was the lone wolf attacking Jyoti, but this time, CM will be the sole person having to defend Neelam, no matter how bad she is, since this was totally CM's pick. One thing I'm hoping for is for Uday to boycott Neelam, since she was originally bethrothed to him against his wishes: I can see Neelam resenting Sudha for snatching Uday from her, since Neelam, unlike Jyoti, does mind having a blind hubby. In fact, I even hope they boycott her wedding. Incidentally, is CM going to shamelessly go to the Sharmas to invite them for Pankaj's wedding, and is Jyoti going to back her by insisting that they go for the sake of Sudha's rishta? 😕😕😕
Actually, the 7 adults and 2 fetii will be living of the salary of 1 girl and 1 guy (Deepu). But this is inexplicable - since he has a promotion, he should now be earning more, shouldn't he? Is the manager of a courier company going to earn less than a girl who dances most of the week, and writes 1 newspaper article for that entire week? And if Jyoti couldn't stop sweating over her maayka when she was happily married, how is she going to stop now when she's living w/ them? I too wish she left that house, found a new guy (as caring as Pankaj was, and as isolated as Brij was, so that she'd get the love of a hubby w/o the jealousy of a saas, and middle class so that he'd expect that her salary contribute to their household and not her father's).
And I agree w/ you - KK was an advocate, why does he need his legs working to continue to do something like that in the legal field? Maybe type a legal aid column, or a literary column in the newspaper? And you're right about Poonam too - instead of learning the ABC's of cooking from her doting saas, why doesn't she go out and do a job in something she is good at - maybe run a beauty parlor, or something, using some of her daddy's money to start one? That way, she won't have to sweat over how to cut her veges, and nor will she have to worry about her pallau flying off, much to the consternation of Dadi. Not to mention, she can have her nails and hair done @ work itself, and maybe use the extra money to entertain Deepu, if not help out Sushma.
I too want Jyoti to move out. I hated it when Jyoti & Sudha lived w/ the Sharmas, under the influence of Padma. Now, Sudha is out, and actually has quite a loving family, not including CM, and don't bother about Pankaj. Her only source of unhappiness is the condition of Jyoti. So the only thing left is for Jyoti to find somewhere else to live. Hey, move out to Kalpana's place for a while, until you've paid off the Sharma debts, and then find a place of your own, and/or maybe a guy of your own, who doesn't mind the fact that he'll be getting not only a wife, but a kid as well. I think ideal for Jyoti would be a widower w/ a baby, who's not affluent, but reasonably well to do.
Like you said, not likely to happen, but one can hope...
