March 5, 2010 Written Update

Deepu gives the tickets back to Jyoti, saying that they can't accept these. Before he can answer why, Poonam runs in with her dad on the phone and hands it to Sandeep. After talking with him, he tells the family that they've been invited to a party tonite. KK and Jyoti decline and Padma excitedly tells that whoever wants to go should get ready and they'll leave quickly. Later that night KK comes to Jyoti's room and puts a blanket over her.

The next morning Dadi, Padma, and Sushma can't stop going on about all the great new foods like pasta and brownies that they tried there. Kalpana calls and asks if Jyoti saw her article in the paper today and Jyoti tells her she forgot entirely. Kalpana mistakenly calls her 'Jyoti Vashisht' and there is an awkward moment. Jyoti tells Kalpana to start rehearsals before she arrives since she may be late as she has to go somewhere.

Jyoti calls Pankaj and tells him that despite knowing that its wrong, she is ready to sign the papers. She goes into the lawyer's office, signs the papers, and is about to leave when stopped by CM. She tells her that despite knowing that Jyoti doesn't like their family, she is ready to give her the money that she knows her family needs. Jyoti declines the offer, saying that from her experience she knows that the only thing that you'll have with you forever is trust. Saying so, she leaves.

At dance school, 2 girls bump into each other and Jyoti lashes out at them. Dada and Kalpana try to calm her down and Jyoti realizes that she was simply frustrated from everything going on in her life. She says sorry and leaves. Meanwhile at home Poonam is learning how to cook when Padma asks the real reason she turned down the honeymoon. Poonam discloses that she's never traveled on 2^nd class railway before, and there may be strange or dangerous people there and her Papa also told her that she didn't have to go… thus he invited them over last night. Padma agrees with Poonam, saying that Jyoti just wanted to get it over with and payed no attention to details and ended up ordering just any tickets for them. Jyoti listens to all this from the window.

In her room, Jyoti breaks down crying and calls Kalpana. She asks if she can come with her tomorrow somewhere where she'll really need her support. Kalpana agrees and Jyoti tells her to make sure not to let her family know of this. KK overhears this conversation from outside. End.
