Part - 77
Gaya3 told Prem, Heer and Chahat to goto their room. Prem sat on the couch keeping Chahat on his lap. Heer sat next to him. Prem kissed their forehead. Chahat looked up 'Papa, why water went like that?' she didn't watch the water came back to swallow the people.
Prem 'it is tsunami. Water goes inward then comes back with full force. They all went behind the water without knowing it as tsunami. They all went into the sea.'
Chahat 'when will they come out?'
Prem 'they won't. they went to God.' Chahat confused.
Prem don't want Chahat to know more about that. he feared that may disturb her mood. 'Chahat, now you are tired take a shower then sleep.' He looked at Heer who is in total shock. 'Heer' Heer with tears looked at him. He kissed her forehead 'we are safe. Then why are you crying?' Heer 'for one second I felt as if I'm the most unlucky.'
Prem rubbed her upper arm. She leaned on to his shoulder. 'Heer you are the luckiest.' He kissed her forehead 'change you dress.' Heer kissed his cheek and went to washroom with Chahat.
In another half an hour Prem, Heer and Chahat took shower and got changed. They didn't talk to each other. All three sat in the bed hugging. Megher came in with a tray of food. She left leaving the tray on the bed. Heer didn't feel like eating. Prem pulled the tray closer and started feeding Heer and Chahat. They ate together.
Chahat soon fell asleep. Heer is still thinking about the incident. Prem placed Chahat on the bed. He pulled Heer closer. She stared into his eyes. Her eyes showed fear. He touched her forehead with his. 'Heer, why are you so scared? Nothing happened to us. We are safe.'
Heer with tears 'Prem, I don't have strength to live without you anymore.' He didn't reply anything because he didn't understand the meaning of that word. He knows that now she wants his love not words. He rubbed his lips on hers. She felt weakness in her body. She put her hand around his neck. Her lips parted inviting him. He started kissing slowly. She closed her eyes. Both kissed with love. They forgot everything. She felt comfortable and the love from him after a long time. He felt the emptiness in his heart being filled with her love. They broke when they needed air. She buried her face into his shoulder. He gently stroked her hair. He made her lay down properly on the bed. He pulled Chahat on to his chest. Heer cuddled into his arms. Soon she drifted into sleep.
Prem stared at Heer and Chahat sleeping face. He kissed their head. He tried to sleep but he is confused when he thought about Heer's wish for a baby boy. His mind started arguing with heart 'she believes me as her Prem. but I'm Sagar. I'm cheating her.'
Heart 'when she shows her love towards you why are you bothering about other things?'
mind 'I cannot fulfil her wish because I'm not her Prem.'
heart 'you are her husband.'
Mind 'no. I don't have that right.'
Heart 'then why are you kissing her and hugging her always.'
Mind 'I couldn't hide my feelings when she comes to me.'
Heart 'so you are using her for your pleasure.'
Mind 'noooooooo. She is my wife.'
Heart 'that's what I'm saying. Forget about Prem. he is dead and not going to comeback. She is happy because of you. Why do you want her to shed tears?'
Mind 'I should tell that to Heer'
Heart 'don't break her heart. Now she is your wife and Chahat is your daughter. Go ahead and enjoy life with them.' Prem some how felt relieved. He hugged Heer and Chahat tightly close to his heart and closed his eyes for a peaceful sleep.
Next morning Prem opened his eyes with fresh joy in his heart. Heer opened her eyes and kissed his cheek 'good morning.' He kissed her forehead 'good morning.'
Heer soon got ready and woke up Chahat. Prem is still rolling on the bed lazily. She sent Chahat to washroom. 'Prem, get up.' Prem pulled her on to him. 'like a warden you are instructing us always.' He rolled over her. He buried his face into her shoulder he tickled her crook of the neck. She giggled putting her hand around him. 'Premm'. He placed a gentle bit on her shoulder. 'you want a baby boy right?'
Heer shyly 'I w a ant but this is not the time to have love. We have to go to hotel. Next week is the opening.'
Prem nuzzling her cheek with his lips 'the day we open the hotel we have the party for everyone else but for us..' he started kissing her lovingly on cheek.
Gently pushing him away, 'Prem, Chahat.' She pointed the washroom door. Prem unwillingly rolled on to his back with a puppy face. She got up placing a quick peck on his lips.
Soon Chahat came out of the washroom. Heer pushed Prem into the washroom. Heer, Chahat and Prem got ready. Chahat is sitting in the couch putting her books inside her school bag.
Prem sat next to her. 'Chahat we are going to Bangalore next month.'
Chahat jumped 'hi. I love you papa.' She kissed his cheek. 'for how many days.' Prem kissed her cheek 'till we go to Canada.'
Chahat 'are we going to Canada too? When papa?'
Heer knelt before Chahat. Putting Chahat shoes 'Papa has some work in Bangalore. After that we'll be going to Canada.' Chahat is so excited 'when will we come back?'
Prem touching her head 'whenever you want. Its your choice.'
Chahat with a sad face 'but I'll have only one month holiday after exams.' Prem pulling her nose 'Canada you have nice schools.' Chahat confused 'Papa but I like to be here only.'
Heer sat next to her 'do you want to study in Papa's school or Mamma's?'
Chahat got excited 'you both studied in Canada.' Heer nodded. Chahat turned to Prem 'what is school name papa?' Prem sadly rolled his eyes. He thought 'how do I know where your Papa studied?'
Heer turning Chahat attention to her 'we'll show you the school when we go there. You can come here whenever you are feeling like visiting India.'
Chahat happily nodded 'for every holiday.' Prem agreed. After breakfast, Prem dropped Chahat in School and went to office with Heer.
T'row is the opening of the new hotel. Prem and Preet checked all the preparations. They had meeting with all the dept. heads. Prem arranged a small party for all the employees of all grade. Prem, Preet and Heer mingled with all the employees and enquired about their family. All the employees where happy about the personal interested shown by the owners.
Prem busy in a meeting. Heer is sitting in his cabin going through party guest list. She stopped her work when her thought raced to Prem. his words 'everyone else will have party but for us.' She blushed. She smiled silently. Then her face changed. Her smile and shyness faded away. Tears dropped down her cheeks.
Heer is totally lost in her thought and didn't notice Prem entering the cabin. He silently sat next to her. he saw her sad face. He thought 'why she is sad today?' He leaned forward and put his hand around her waist. One from back and another from the front, he kept his head on her shoulder. Heer coming out of her thought managed to hold her tears but the wet mark on her cheeks are clearly visible to Prem. he sadly 'Heer, why are you crying now?'
Heer 'I'm happy.' Prem turned his face to look into his eyes. 'Heer, no something wrong?'
Heer smiled 'I'm thinking about night party.' She looked down. Prem kissed her cheek 'are you not happy about that?'
Heer 'I'm happy Prem.' Prem 'then why are you crying?'
Heer leaning on to his chest. 'Prem, when Chahat was in my womb. You are not with me. You didn't enjoy my days of pregnancy and missed first year of Chahat. Now I want you to give everything but you lost your memory. When you gain memory you won't remember anything.'
As Heer said those words Prem thought. 'Poor Prem you are unlucky. I hope now you are watching your Heer from heaven. I cannot give all the love you gave to her but I try to keep her happy. Hope you will not get angry on me for taking your place.'
Prem kissed her forehead. He gave a false hope to her 'Heer, hope for the good. May be the happy news will bring my memory back.' He thought 'I'll become Sagar then I don't know how you'll react to that.'
