honestly, I felt like I was going to jump into the show and slap poonam when she was saying this. If I was jyoti, I would have said - if I am not a part of this house, then why do I use my salary to pay the bills for you to eat and to bathe and even to sleep? And also, do you know who paid off the house's mortgage? So, yes, I have a right here ...
This girl is spoiled and just too much ... she doesn't know what to say and what not to say.

I seriously hope Jyoti will leave the damn house too. Poonam has crossed all the limit by calling Jyto Sauteni Bahen of Deepu...she insulted Jyoti and Sumi so much...
My heart cried Jyto as she have suffer so much due to milking Padma...

I also felt sorry for Susi.. ...

In the precap to tonight's episode (I haven't watched so far), KK says that this sort of behavior by the bahu cannot be tolerated, and tells Deepu that Poonam has insulted his sister.
But why Deepu? KK is the master of the house, and can expel Poonam himself if he wants to - even Padma can't stop him. If he feels so strongly about it, on which there's no doubt, why doesn't he tell Poonam to leave, and if Padma tries to intervene, kick her out with Poonam? After all, in the past, he kicked Deepu out, so how much harder is it to do the same to Poonam? If Deepu objects, which he wont, since they have a badly bruised relationship, he can tell him to go w/ her.
Point is - KK is the master of this house. Shouldn't he act like one, instead of handing it over to Jyoti just b'cos he can't walk?

But Jyoti is right in saying that a husband should make his wife understand. If anything happens in my house, I expect my husband to speak to me about it, not my in-laws. He is my husband and has rights over me, not his parents.

^^^If you behaved in a vile manner in your sasural and made your FIL decide that you had to leave, would he need your hubby's permission b4 kicking you out? He'd be fully within his rights to tell you to leave, either w/ or w/o your hubby (depending on whether the latter supported you). The head of a household can determine who lives there.
In this case, I'm not saying that Jyoti is wrong, as described by you. But in the Sharma household, Deepu is not the head - KK is. When Deepu cheated several months back in not taking his exams or even attending school, KK kicked him out. When Sushma eloped w/ Brij, KK banned her from coming.
Similarly, it's KK who decides who can stay, not Deepu. KK can't end Deepu's marriage, but if Poonam behaves in a way vile enough that KK decides that she doesn't belong there, he can kick her out, and add that if Deepu doesn't like it, he can go w/ her. He doesn't have to beg Deepu to do anything. Somewhat like CM threatening Sudha that she can leave w/ Jyoti, and Uday too if he chooses to back her.
Besides, at this point, what can Deepu do? He very clearly, after describing Jyoti's & Sudha's parentage and the fact that they were his mausi's daughters, warned her against ever describing them as step-sisters. And what does Poonam do? The first opportunity she gets, she says that Jyoti has no relationship w/ her. What does Deepu do in such a case? Beat her? He's done what he's supposed to.
The best thing they can do is call the Trivedis, explain to them what's happened to date, and ask them how they recommend proceeding.

No offence to you when I write the following, because I really like your posts and your participation in the forum.
But, I don't agree - although KK has the right to kick her out, it's really up to her husband to fix the situation. Throwing someone out of the house is not the answer, or else everyone would be gone by now! If Deepu takes hold of the situation like a man and clearly lets his wife know that what she is doing is unacceptable, and how to behave, then he can fix the situation without having to kick anyone out. He has to act like a husband and stand up for what he really believes!
I know my husband would not stand for me abusing his parents (nor would I stand for him doing that to mine), and would take me privately, talk (or get upset with me), and then make me apologize to his parents. Thank goodness I have not had to experience this type of thing because I would never act like Poonam. She has no sense in her head ...
