We did discuss in the past who Deepu should go w/ while marrying. Since then, he's married Poonam, who looked okay @ first, but now looks like a bride of satan for him.

Somehow, had the old Deepu, who was on a gold digging mission, picked up Poonam, he'd certainly have got her (since she certainly didn't pick him for his values), and would have had no qualms about taking money from her father. And he would have pampered her a lot. Since it was Panchi, it backfired.

So would Deepu have done better by taking a high risk route and seeking to win back Panchi? I was glad that Deepu chose to avoid a confrontation w/ her father, and decided that he wasn't worthy of her, but had he gone w/ Panchi, it looks like she'd have been a much more mature bahu of the house, instead of this brat Poonam

So what do people think?

Vote for Poonam if you think Deepu did the right thing by going w/ her and avoiding a showdown w/ Panchi's dad, and vote for Panchi if you think he should have risked it and given his family a more worthy bahu, who doesn't demand all sorts of luxuries in her poorer sasural.

deepu poonam surely will head for divorce in future...tht girl is pure pain...but i hope she gives hard time to padma before she leaves

I'm just wondering what the Trivedis might have to say about it, if it happens. I mean, both parents seem to love Jyoti, and when they find out how Poonam has been behaving, will they be as enthusiastic about taking her back? Methinks if the Sharmas tell them everything that Poonam has been doing since day 2, they might read her the riot act and tell her that if she can't behave in her sasural, she's not welcome back @ her maayka.

Then again, initial appearances can be deceptive: even Poonam seemed nice @ first, but is now turning out to be a total 🤬. So if that can happen, don't be surprised if Mahesh-ji at least, if not Prabha-ji, supports Poonam.
