what i love about sonu nigam is that he encourages talent , even if it a direct and imminent threat to him. he's a great enough singer to thrive on competition, rather than believing that everyone should struggle only bcos he had to in his earlier days. just shows why the younger ones all adore sonu.

You shuld make up your mind whether you want sexy people or you want singers. If you want sexy people then you can go to the disco of your town. Wha\y do you seek for sex in television channels.

KS is not at all jealous. He feels pity for these young singers who have no future in Bollywood. People like Sonu Nigam are conducting these programmes not to encourage talent but to discourage them and handle these talents anyway he likes. He had full control over them. That is why better singers in Indian Idols are eliminated and worse singers than Sonu Nigam are made winners so that Sonu Nigam can beat them any day and be the number one position, that too by the help of distributions companies and ad agencies.

Kumar Sanu is never jealous for their popularity. Just tell these new singer to sing 10 continuous original hit songs and I will agree to you that KS is being jealous. KS had 10,000 of hit songs to his credit. He is way ahead of being jealous seeing these young chickens.

These people who made their name in such a short time will find that they have lost their name in again such a short time, while people who gain popularity for long is actually popular.

People who follow Ameican culture like apes are APES in its true sense.

KS ha not gained popularity by TV shows just the way Sonu did as Sonu knew that if he didnot do this he will soon be dead. Instead KS never came befor camera and ruled peoples minds through his "dard bhari" singing, and not trying to get popular among young girls to grab the best singer filmfare awards 5 times consecutively.

If these shows were not a gimmick then prove yourself that it is not a gimmick by remembering Abhijeet Sawant 5 years from now. People will for get him like anyting after even 2 years but the actual KING Kumar Sanu will be remembered till the end of the music industry.

i agree with kumar sanu... it's only a way to make money for producers and if anything sa re ga ma pa is teh only good show that has amazing talent...

but hopefully amey will prove kumar sanu wrong by winning the competition and become a popular playback singer

Kumar Sanu is one of the best singers. And i think he is right that contestants from previous shows have been forgotten by the public.
I think public forgets because now there are so many singing contests.
But public will never forget Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, and Sonu Nigam because they are the best and were recognized with out these talent shows.
But Abhijeet Sawant, Amit Sana and etc. could be recognized more and be great singers if they work harder.

KUMAR SANU is one of the best
He has practically ruled the bollywood playback from 1989-2000. Nowadays no single singer has that monopoly. The quality of playback singers are so poor that music directors are themselves singing more. Sonu Nigam and Vinit from Saregamapa are poor copy of great RAFI SAHAB. What is the quality of Qazi? There are only few like Shreya and Sunidhi who could shine.

I dont agree 100% with Kumar Sanu but he was right that this reality shows are money making deals.Kumar Sanu is a great singer and try not to compare this kids to him please.

I can't believe what people are saying THIS IS A FORUM and we all express our views everyday. Kumar Sanu expressed his views and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Based on the past he is correct....wonder where Abhi will be in 5 years time? I hope AMey and Karunya make it though.

What is this rubbish. Do you know anything about music? Kumar Sanu has his views and talks from experience. Saying Abi will be better is nonsense, it is yet to be proved. Also, 'IDOL' was NOT originated in USA but in the UK as 'POP IDOL' - then various conutries adjusted name when they took out the franchise like Indian Idol, American Idol etc. It stopped in the UK a long time ago and since have bseen other such like shows like XFactor. You SHOULD check your facts and not chat rubbish. Don't kow why the let people like you on this forum when all you do is chat rubish. It may be your opinon but are not talking aout FACTS!
