Purab Kohli is looking forward to watching the rocking performances of B-town's leading ladies at the 55th Idea Filmfare Award 2009 on Saturday.
He says, "Kareena, Katrina, Deepika will be performing along with Hrithik and others at the award ceremony. I haven't been nominated for anything, but am eagerly waiting for the evening to arrive."
His favourite film and directors, Purab maintains, is Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots. He says, "I really enjoyed it and Rajkumar Hirani has done a wonderful job. For the best actors, it's undoubtedly Amitabh Bachchan for Paa and Kareena for Kurbaan." His pick for the best actors in a supporting role are "my all-time favourite Rishi Kapoor for Love Aaj Kal and Shahana Goswami for Firaaq."
In the music category, Purab is rooting for "Amit Trivedi for Dev D. He should get the award for best music. I love listening to the songs of Delhi 6 and think Prasoon Joshi should be awarded for Best Lyrics for this film, Mohit Chauhan for the song Masakali and Rekha Bhardwaj for Sasural Genda Phool."
