The new promo has Jyoti suggesting to Padma that Sushma resumes her studies. Padma protests that Sushma is pregnant, and would be the butt of ridicule in class, but Jyoti tells her that when the same students see how successful Sushma is after the entire process, they'll really admire her all the more. 🤔🤔

Well, having subjected herself to some of the most masochist exercises, such as almost skipping Deepu's wedding, it's now Jyoti's turn to subject Sushma to this. 😆😆 Incidentally, this might be a more interesting task for the new bahu - ask her to tutor Sushma and help her be successful. Just hope that Sushma doesn't go into labor the day she's doing her finals. 🤣🤣

And while on the topic of masochism, we've seen how the brilliant family members - Jyoti, Padma et al wanted Deepu to get married despite being financially unprepared for it all, as well as wanting Sushma's & Jyoti's issues to be behind them. So how about them suggesting to Deepu the next step - knock Poonam up as well, so that they have 3 pregnancies in the family running concurrently? Doesn't Padma want to be a Dadi, rather than just a Nani? Wouldn't dear Jyoti & Sushma love to be buas? After all, the CVs seem to love sadism, so here's another track they could pursue, no, where a stupid decision is taken on emotional grounds rather than practical considerations? 🤣🤣

Excellent ... If these sort of things happen, then Jyoti would be more than happy to solve all the problems one by one and live happily ever after...she will have a bag full of ...correction..an overflowing bag of problems which she would lovvvvvvvvvve to solve all by herself...

and in due course, she can also excel in her doormat skills and get promoted to a carpet which covers more area on the floor so that many many many ppl can walk over her for all the problems they are gonna face in the future...

She could use her problem solving skills in some corporate industry which atleast would give her a good salary... or will she say to her employer ... "nehin, mujhe paisa nehin chaahiye"... she doesnt know how to live... bevakuf aurat..lol

I think this serial is going to be a complete serial ..thank god they are showing Sushma to be a independent girl...She should be independent ..who know now she can find a new man ..who will care for her

I will always vote for Poonam in a catfight because no matter how much anyone may say that after leaving Brij, Sushma redeemed herself, I will always hate her for all the mean things she did and said.

Some things are not forgivable, and Sushma, even if she jumps in front of a bus to save Jyoti, will be hated by me.

She's just like her mother, she will never change. She sees mauke ka fayaada.

And no matter how many nice things she does, it takes one instance for her to just flip around and be accusing and vindictive

First of all, Sudhi is not Padma's kid - never was, never will be. Yeah, same is true of Jyoti as well, but since Jyoti is in Padma's home, there is that implicit responsibility that Padma has over her, but never fulfills.

Besides, if Sudha gets pregnant, it will be in the Vashisth family and they will be the ones doing all the things for her well being, not Jyoti or Padma. And if she does, she should keep a good distance from Padma.

Actually, of all the daughters, had Sudha been pregnant instead of the other 2, that would have been perfectly healthy - there she is in a healthy marriage, w/ support of her hubby and at least her bari-papa & bari-ma, and you can bet that in that state, she's likely to be protected not only by Uday, but also by MN&G. I do think MN&G wouldn't tolerate the illtreatment of their bahu if it has the potential of affecting their grandkid.

Finally, fully agree w/ QY above^^^^^^^^ Sushma was the biggest reason that Jyoti's marriage has now ended, and she's back @ her maayka, divorced & pregnant. Had Sushma maintained a healthy relationship w/ Brij and walked out on her own, and not been swayed by her mom's support of Brij's kasams, then Jyoti could have cleanly talked about her to Pankaj w/o the sort of repercussions that ultimately happened. Another thing - along w/ Padma & Sushma, I disdain, if not hate, Deepu as well - had he taken full control of Sushma's affairs instead of blabbing to Jyoti, who had no clout w/ Sushma @ the time, Jyoti wouldn't have had to make a gazillion rendezvous that she could never properly explain to her sasural. Of course, Jyoti is to be blamed for her own stupidity, but I do hold Sushma, Padma & Deepu primarily responsible for not being able to handle their side of the family.

From today, I'm making this thread the chronicle of the catfight b/w Sushma & Poonam, and hope to update it regularly: the title has been accordingly changed (maybe that will make this forum more lively). 😉😆 Today's round of the Sushma vs Poonam catfight series was just classic, and for Poonam supporters here, a comprehensive victory for Poonam.

First round: Padma was teaching Poonam how to cook, when Deepu interrupted w/ a phone call from Prabha's mom. So Poonam made her way out of there even as she was being taught, and started yakking away. Sushma mutters that 2 days into the marriage, such small things have to be taught to Poonam (hey, Sushi, you weren't such a champion cook when you started shacking up w/ Brij!!!!) Dadi too makes a remark about Poonam. Padma is now pissed, and first orders Sushma to finish what's been started, and then turns to Dadi and tells her that it's a spousal affair. Then Poonam comes and delivers the coup de grace by handing Padma the phone, and Padma leaves Sushi to complete the job, while she now starts 😆😆 (see from 3:55 onwards):

Next day, @ Sishu Mangal, Poonam is chatting w/ some friends of hers (I'm fascinated by how she managed to get them all to join the Sishu Mangal Holi celebrations). One of the friends spotted Sushma, and mistook her for Jyoti, and mentioned to Poonam how she was an excellent dancer. Poonam corrected her, telling her that it wasn't Jyoti-didi, it was Sushma, the younger sister. The friend asked whether she too was a good dancer. Poonam said no, she was nothing - she just stays @ home all day, eats and sleeps, w/o mentioning her pregnancy. 😆😆 She then delivered the final blow, mentioning that she likes to wear other people's designer saris, and that too after begging them 😆😆 Sushma overheard these remarks, and was hurt (I thought it a tad unfair given that Poonam got her sari back, but aside from that, I thought that Sushma was a real loser: she could have joined the Sishu mangal kids in playing holi, instead of standing there @ the table all to herself. Right now, she has the bhabi from hell 🤣🤣) See from 4:25 onwards:

Poonam can rub it in further by asking her dad to buy Sushma a designer sari. Sushma wouldn't be able to refuse such an offer by Deepu's sasur-ji. 🤣🤣

The reason I support Sushma is that she has behaved like a typical teenager. She also has gone through a traumatic time with an abusive psychopath husband, and lost all her friends and almost her family too. Now she's back home and pregnant with a child she doesn't believe she can support, but Jyoti wouldn't let her abort.
Deepu is her only brother, Poonam will be the only bhabhi she will ever have. The two things because of which she was upset with Poonam:
(1) asking for her room: I'd be very upset too! Sushma shares it with Dadi and Jyoti, and it just isn't the sort of thing you expect a 1-day old new family to ask for
(2) The sari: If it's a common tradition, this is something she probably imagined, and was delighted she found a designer sari. She's never had riches, and if she got ONE nice gift from her bhabhi, what's wrong? Poonam seems to be older than Sushma too, I'd expect her to give up her sari just from that perspective. And they belong in the same house: it's not like Poonam can't wear it. She married into a joint family, she needs to learn sharing.

In spite of all Sushma's faults, let's not forget that she is a teenager coming out of a traumatized relationship and the Sharmas have promised to get her out of depression when they brought her home
