My favorite scene in the epi this week.....it was a very soft yet poignant moment....nicely written dialogues, understated yet touching scene at the same time.....

Mahi's Dad: Do Betiyaan....Dono meri....Dono Alag

Mahi: *morosely* Ek moti, ek patli....Ek beautiful, ek ugly....

Mahi's Dad: *patting her arm* Weak aur strong.

Mahi: Papa...

Mahi's Dad: Seriously....tumhare saath kuch bhi ho...koi kuch bhi bole, tum kitni dignity aur style ke saath handle karti ho

Mahi: Papa, main duniya ki sabse badi jhalli hoon...

Mahi's Dad:
Main character ki baat kar raha tha....acche kapde pehen na, shosha jhaadna hum sab kar sakte hain....par andar se kuch hi log humari Mahi jaise hote hain *punches her arm softly with affection*

And as he walks away, he softly brushes his hand over Anjali's hair as she lies asleep on the couch....I thought it was such a natural and sweet scene showing a father's love for his daughters....encouraging one of them by telling her what makes her special....and at the same time brushing his hand over the hair of his other daughter whom he loves just as much no matter how much she frustrates him and irritates him.

And I loved the lines in blue the most👏👏👏

Hey Nureat...😊
Yup completely loved that scene...😊
Mahi's father is the only logical person in her house....
I guess both the father and daughter make a fab team...👍🏼

Yes, that was indeed a beautiful scene!

I loved that line in blue too! Mahi's Dad is really supportive, and I love it how he's always there for his children and always encouraging them!

Love Mahi-Dad scenes, always!

I love Papa Aloo (😆).
The part that touched me the most was when he brushed Anji's hair. It shows that no matter how much he praises Mahi (and his praises are dignified as well), he'll never differentiate between the two to a point where he has to chose between them.
He loves them equally because they're both his, he just loves them differently.

The father-daughter scenes in this show are so touching and sweet!
Its very mature and I like how he trys to give Mahi confidence in herself.
So diff't than the dad sobbing and asking why she did this and that like in other drama's
BTW, is this show produced by Yash Chopra? I think the logo comes on before the show
This may explain why its actually a good show despite it being on sony😆

I know, throughtout the show, i have adored mahi's father. he is the man, who wuld rather stay away from futile dining table conversations so as to avoid controverises and fights, he like any father knows his daughter so well that he knows when he needs to say what to them. He knows that anjali may always like to be perceived as the strohng one, who doesnt give a damn.. but inisde she is like a glass balanced on a rope, can fall and break anytime. He comes across as this sweet balanced and affectionater father. Really like him, and the scene was really touching :)
