colors-the regressive channel!!

Hi all!!

but the truth is itself harsh naa
the channel is potraying it

I agree that they are deviating from the original story lines, and going into old hacked story lines. but the reality is that this channel cannot last only on social messages as the story, because then the viwership will fall and they will have to close shop, so according to the TRP they change the story line. we may not like it, but the majority seems to be enjoying this.

yes, its not leading to any solutions to the problem but its adding on to the problems!

i too agree colors is just glorifying evil's of society now and yes they are not showing the evil getting punished or reforming....

They are showing the same people doing same stuff..............

Colors is still better channel than other Indian channels..

I totally agree...Ballika Vadhu is greatest example Gahna is living happily after child marriage, rather after marital rape. Two child's pregnancies both are successful so at the end of day its preaching child marriage, child pregnancy, marital rape. Sugna after first husband death should have given thought about her education but rather she was stucked at pratap ki nisani...This serial disappointed me big time. I really they will slowly shows problem and their solution. But now I think BV just run problem and more problem every episode one tag line but no solution.
Whatever they show as solution is like BTIsh that one day girl will learn to live with all autocracies and thats the solution

Not only is colors regressive but it has made other channels to tow the line. Look at Imagine, after Devi it is bringing in Kashi,Palkon ki.

Apart from initial episodes of each show on colors, what followed was regular hackneyed storylines.

I am especially infuriarated by what is shown in Laado and Pyaar na hoga kam. The kind of treatment dished out in pyaar na hoga kum is abysmal to say the least. And Laado is pinnacle of regression. The evil of girl foetus killing is blatant truth. And that issue is simply non existent in any episodes any more. Rather women at pawns at hands evil characters.

All these serials can show one strong character who changed lives. Take a cue from today's rediff news abt women farmers from Medak district in Andhra Pradesh.

If evil exists in society so does the bravery.

Colors is a bad bad precedent for other channels.

Yes!! Reading b/w lines or dialogues wont help-who is watching these serials-its known that a large chunk of small towns & villages-do u think they can read b/w the lines--All they know is Ok Tv shows child marriage- see Anandi is lucky -got married early-gud sasural- so will our child-what horrors???And about the remaining regressive serials- women tormenting women-plzzz stop this nonsense in the name of social reforms!!!Wy cant you make serials on women enpowerment/ child education etc.. And glorifying rape---as was rightly pointed-gehna is living in bliss now-puhleeez spare us!!!
