well ,he is telling her to forget about him so that he can get on with his new life with his new fiance . If he will see her happy then maybe guilt will be a little less. Moving on will be a lot easier . he is not telling her this for love . If he loved her ...he would not give her this much pain . hate to say it but...what a crock of dodo...did manav tell sachin and shrav to go do the dirty before marriage? so why is it his responsibility to marry her to give his brother's child a name, the child will get it anyhow without him marrying churail. That is one, # 2, why should he feel obligated to girish ji and treat him like a god. As much as girish gave him a job when he needed it, he worked and built girishji bank account, #3, Girish offered him the sale of the garage because he knew that manav helped him when he needed him, so in a sense girish was obligated in a way to manav, and manav DID get a loan and pay him for the garage. and #4, manav knows that his mother is a gold hungry woman, and that is the only reason she wants him to marry shrav. the way i see it manav does not have any responsibility whatsoever where shrav and her baby and girish is concerned. His main responsibility is his wife. Whether he made that commitment before or after knowing archana wanted to come back home. We can go on and on and debate this topic till chicken gets teeth but the fact remain that he is doing a great injustice to his wife, if he knew his responsibilities of being a son and brother were far greater than being a husband, then he shouldn't have gotten married in the first place.

Well Tanya Di, he wont exactly be "happily married" with Shravani. They wont have a husband-wife relationship.His love wont be with him anymore.He wont ever be able to tell Archana how much he loves her.Isnt that a punishment enough for him?
