I truly have faith in Abhi. Age as I said in my last post is just a number. One has to take a look at all the so call adults in this and tell me who is the true adult.
Manju Adult #1 :
She is so bent on condemning Abhi because of his age, she holds him accountable to all of Anita's lies without any proof, she accuses him of lying, what is Manju doing to the Daggars, she is lying to them by not telling them that Neetu is pregnant, she is deceiving them. Manju is a nightmare of a parent for any child. She also turned the other cheek to Rajiv Bhalla's crooked past and was willing to sacrifice her Daughter's life for what, Society's Acceptance, She also turned the other cheek to Anuj's stealing from his Dad's, what is the message you are giving Manju, you are saying that it is okay to lie deceive and steal as long as it makes you look good in this so call Society which you are more interested in pleasing than your your own daughter's life. Lets not forget how disrepectful you are to your husband. This is an adult who points fingers at Abhi and calls him on his age, Well Manju let us compare Abhi to you......
Abhi is happy, he is intelligent, he is kind, considerate, he is tolerant, he is respectful, he is assertive, he is confidant, he is honest, he is a multiplier unlike you Manju who is a divider, he is dependable, You are the adult in this Manju, but from where I sit, Abhi's maturity in handling all situations is so sincere, he is youthful in his approach but is confidant in his delivery. He is happy so humour comes naturally. I would rather have a friend in Abhi than a mother like Manju. She is Selfish, Abhi is selfless. I am still waiting for Manju to honour Matarani honestly. How can she stand before the Goddess and be so vengeful and stubborn, Is this adult behaviour, well, I can say with certainty that I would rather be with a mentality like Abhi than an adult like Manju.
The behaviour of the adults on this show, Dolly and Surendra, Manju and Mr Tarneja, Anita and Anuj, The Karol Bagh neighbourhood clan, "wow ' makes me stand by my belief that age truly is just a number, age does not bring maturity, it is one's ability to be tolerant and compassionate to all points of view that develops maturity not someone's age and for this I applaud this show for addressing this stigma in society where it is acceptable for a man to marry and love younger women and it is Taboo for a female to love a younger person. Abhi, stole my heart and I am an older women.

abhi stole many hearts not only women's but men's as well and I mean not in wrong way. He is a role model to married men /lovers. He can teach them a lesson or 2 in how to become tolerant loving caring to lover/wife. He is way mature than most male female in this show and unfortunately all of them are older then him.
Age has nothing to do with maturity, Kindness, loving or caring.I hope it is not to late for simi to go back and ask him for forgiveness.

Nice post. Well said and good comparison.
I too have confidence in Abhi. Not just yours the character has stolen very many hearts.
A wonderful performance too that you have no option but to love Abhi. But none in the show actually loves him, the love that he so well deserves. RS and Simi love him but they are puppets in Manju's hands.

I think Abhi has stolen everyone's heart. Abhi is the kind of guy every girl yearns for and to see Simi toss him aside time and time again disgusts each and everyone of us. Tragically the creative team who have given us a character like Abhi have forgotten that he too needs to be valued even if he doesn't look or believe he needs it. Not to appreciate or give him the respect he deserves as a partner is beyond me.
I love your comment; this is what Simi has to realize that she would take Abhi over her family and their needs especially these unreasonable needs. Until we see her take a stand against each one of them and walk away, only then will or can I have any respect for her. But what I really yearn to see is Abhi take a stand against Simi and her antics.
Finally our comment about Manju and her relationship with Matarani. Doesn't this woman have any shame? It's disgusting to see her pray and ask for everything that is wrong? Plus you are right; this woman promotes lies and deception when it comes to everyone else but Abhi has to be held to a higher standard and he, Abhi, continues to take it. O, How I wish they'd give Abhi some dignity.
