joint families = trouble?

I have always been an advocate for joint families, thought it was the way to go. But I recently visited family in India and lived in a joint family for a month. OMG It was not what I expected. I was left wondering maybe if I had been mislead all these years with my romantic notions of a joint family. So I wanted to come here and ask you guys which is better joint family or nuclear family?

Nah I'd prefer joint families. Nuclear fusion might cause an overload of atoms and result in an explosion, which will be hazardous for society as well as the environment. 😆

I apparently come from a made for tv family because everything about them was omg. heres a brief list:

1. younger member trying to molest an older member
2. family fights over property
3. accusations of possible murder over property
4. drug use
5......

really? I found there are less explosion than joint families.

All this can happen and happens even otherwise..why blame it on joint family system!

joint family is the only system in my opinion where all this can happen in one family at same time.
