"Nakusha! A jeeb nahi lagta naam?" 😉

I feel the names are depicting a satircal angle that name does not ensure anything...a person needs to be beautiful inside..
Nakusha: a person who cannot make anyone happy
Kalavati: a person who is talented (she is talented right but in all the bad things of life)
Leelavati: Playful amusing charming (its like aankh ka andha and naam nainsukh)
Roopvati: beautiful, she may be beautiful from outside but is rotten inside..

Despite their names they seem to have nothing good about them...on the other hand despite her name, face and poverty nakusha is a person who is patient, beautiful from inside and actually some one who would sacrifice her happiness for her family...

I was just reading something on the web...incidently india is the only country where fairness in girls is considered beautiful....they are obsessed with the out dated concept of snow white!

I dont know i made any sense...but I tried...

Same here...its not love...he likes her for what she has done and is curious about her...and I think she considers him as a kind of a messiah and is also curious about him....Its like if some one was to save my life, I would naturally be curious about that person, trying to return the help in any way....

Great update JC, and I find your analysis spot-on. Am sure the secret Dutta mentioned is the same, him knowing, but playing along with his sisters.

Hey N'sy.. 😊

i wonder why she is given such a depressing name. and why did datta like the name...

yes thats right...she sees datta as some kind of messiah in her life who not only saved her and her family from morey but also making her life better. for her thats his main attraction rather than his looks or personality. though both of those help too.

the scenes of the 3 sisters is irritating. kinda hampers the flow of the story b/w datta and nakusha. i really hope they dont concentrate on them for some time now that their characters are established.

and yes mishal does have amazing screen presence...he just sat there like a king. now i want to say 'hai! kya baitha hain'. he hardly spoke anything but i just wanted to look at him. 😉

messaih yes also she seems probably thinking when no one came forward to save her...even after seeing her beauty this guy comes in and fights for her and saves her this unknown stranger who has never seen the real her doesnt know anything abt her but not only saves her also gives them a ride n food and with no motive at all. ...if someone did that for me i wud be thinking abt the guy 24*7 for rest of my life.. ...it would be life long love too....and if he was anything like dutta to look at then toh 10000% surely...and i suppose nakusha is going through exactly the same thing

very true...i can completely relate to what naku is going thru. in her place i would have reacted the same way too. she was in fact drawn to him even before she saw him properly. remember the car mirror scene? it was only in the dhaba she saw him properly and later at the hospital and couldnt take her eyes off him.
