I listened to each song sung by Hemachandra, Debojit, Vineet, Himani and Nihira, that have been posted thus far on both the following sites:

After listening to each song on a hi fidelity headphone: The BOSE Quiet-Comfort Noise Cancelling Headphones US$300, URL: (http://www.bose.com/controller?event=VIEW_STATIC_PAGE _EVENT&url=/promotions/interactive/qc2/QC2_minisite_v2_c ontent.jsp&ck=0), I gave the song a score (1 to 10) based on a multitude of factors:

Average Scores from All Songs (Out of 10): Highest to Lowest

Debojit: 7.79

Nihira: 7.30

Hemachandra: 7.12

Vinit: 6.72

Himani: 6.71

Based on the above individual song results, I think I feel safe to vouch for Debojit from my view. I am suprised to discover this but a audio-only healdphone analysis revealed what I had not noticed on the TV show.

The scoring was done unbiased and entirely based on the "audio-only" and not on video-and-audio.

If you disagree with my scoring, I respect that. This is only my opinion although I have been completely unbiased and objective in the evaluation.

Man ..Though u have an impressive back ground and I am not too much into music ..I feel that the way of calculating averages is not technical .You really need to give weightage to all the factors you used ,including the difficulty of the songs before you listen to them.These weightages should be scientific.You can not simply give a 6/7/8 out of 10 like our mentors..

For me ..even before becoming hema's fan ..the songs by debo were a bit odd and out of sync .. Anyway overall it is a nice effort..

Well Anurag ji, I am extremely happy that you scored Debu the HIGHEST😃. I am a huge Debu fan. So that's a good news. But I will have to disagree with with you on one thing. The position of Nihira and Debojit should be interchanged, and thats my feeling.

Waw, hi fidelity headphones does make a difference. Is it BOSE😉? Debojit jumped to the first place from the last. I request you to listen to Nihira's songs one more time and repoint them. But please don't listen to Vinit again, I don't want him to top the list tomorrow. 😉

I am surprised Debo's Aaja Ve Mahi only got a 5. Perhaps the song was not so difficult. Debo's Na To Kaarvan is also missing. It was a difficult song and he was in way over his head on that one. Did you mean not to score his Suno Gor se Duniya Waalon? Is that song included in the averages?

I am not sure you should have included Hema's incomplete Yaadein goodbye song. One of his best Ramta Jogi is missing.

If Vinit could get a 9 for Aashiq Banaya then you should listen to Sharib's version. There is a huge chasm between their deliveries.

Ultimately, music is all about how it touches your soul. It is a hard thing to quantify.

I dont think this is very unbiased numbers. Also it may depend on how much youlike a song and how much you have heard that song before.
Hema and NIhira's scores are completely off range.You are probably comparing to the actual song voices and originality is not something you were looking for.

I would not give Debojit more than 6-7 for any song

Nahi Samne, tanhayee, vandemataram, mitwa, ramta jogi deserve a 9 and above

All of NIhira;s songs should get 9 and above. I dont know what kind of fidelity head phones you have.

Na to caravan ki talash is the same as "Yeh Ishq Ishq"

Was the "Yaadein" song the one that Hem sang in his final elimination round.
If yes, as much respect that I have for you, I'm amazed that you would actually rank his "Nahin saamne tu" the same as "Yaadein".
Nahin saamne tu was just "MINDBLOWING" to my untrained ears" but "Yaadein" was just not as good. "Yaadein was Yaade", "Hain was hai", "baatein was baate" - again the "anuswaar" that we use in Hindi.
10 is always walking on water so I would prefer not to do so, because there's always room for improvement... I (again, based on my untrained ears) would have given "Nahin saamne tu" a 9/10 and "Yaadein" maybe a 6 or a 7...

Don't blame him please. Yesterday according to him Hema was miles ahead of everyone. Today its Debojit (although I am happy), tomorrow it might be Vinit and the day after it will be RAJEEV.😲
