The Slap, as I call it, was one of the best scenes to be shown on KYPH till date and also one of the most dramatic in my recent memory!
Brilliantly enacted, superbly directed and rendered with passion and emotion, it was a scene which left me rattled and stunned for some time!
And I completely justify Kripa's reaction to Angad's friendly ''Pat on her Bums'', even though he did it in a very casual manner and as he says afterwards, he did not mean it intentionally, the fact is that, Angad does not respect women and treats them as a commodity and has a very partronizing attitude towards them.
Hence, this was not just coming, it was very well timed and extremely justified, as per me! Many might think that Kripa over-reacted, but we also have to keep the fact in mind, that Kripa, as a character has not gotten over her feelings for Angad, and this action of his, only made her heart break further than it already has!
On the other hand, I thought that Angad's reaction to her was just bang on! I couldn't have thought of a better way for a guy like Angad to react, to being slapped infront of everyone! It was a great scene, and kudos to the director and script-writer who came up with this one!
Iqbal acted very well and so did Neha, I loved the way he pushes her back to the wall and raises his hands to hit her, but smashes his hand into the wall.......it just brought out Angad's bottled up rage and pain so brilliantly!
Wow....I think I will have to douse myself with some cold water, else I won't be able to sleep today! Guys, one of you have to do the updates tomorrow, I am getting far too involved......Nitica, Sugar, Dinky, Sony, Radz, Stunning.....please volunteer and spare me of this obessession of writing updates for atleast tomorrow, till I regain my lost senses!
Just joking, I can get pretty dramatic at times!
