Haunting memories of the past must have come to Salman's mind when the vehicle he was traveling in accidentally knocked down a 15-year-old girl. Salman was going to attend a star-studded function when the girl Pranjali Kasalkar got hit.
However, according to Salman's lawyer Dipesh Mehta, the girl only suffered minor bruises and was taken to a nearby hospital by Salman himself where she was treated and discharged subsequently. As no formal complaint was lodged, the police did not have any clue about the incident until late evening.
It may be recalled that on September 28th 2002, Salman's Land Cruiser was involved in a hit and run accident outside Bandra's American Express Bakery where one person lost his life.
