Was it the right decision? Regarding boys, I am not sure... All three of them deserved to be in top ten... I would have been unhappy to see any of them leave... But I was happy to finally see a solo from Shakti, Punit and Kunwar... Of course, Kunwar performed the best among the three, and between Punit and Dharmesh, it was a tough choice... Punit did something in his comfort zone, but Dharmesh did something he has never done or seen or even heard before... It's the lack of exposure about the regional folk dance forms in India that judges dont know how to rate them... I was so happy to see the Theyyam dance, and Terence was absolutely right when he said that Dharmesh should have moved faster. Traditionally the Theyyam dance involves fast moves and that way the weight of the costume would be felt lighter too..
Regarding girls, yes the decision was very right! Meenu was the weakest even though she did a type she is good at. Shakti was obviously the best, and Binny was second. Binny has so much charisma on stage, and makes her presence appealing to watch. Meenu lacks stage presence that in her group acts, I prefer to watch the rest than watching her.. Anyway, let's hope that Dharmesh returns in WC round.. I like to see his own style solo dances and he is a brilliant choreographer...
