Yes Rachael I do agree with you but you know what, we Indians are so used to showing pity and feeling sorry and making excuses which has led to setting very low standards for ourselves. We always say that poor guy never got any training but see he worked so hard, or poor guy never had any money to learn dance but is still managing, or poor girl her parents were against her but she fought and came up, oh he is not trained in that style, oh she is weak in that but is managing...
These are all excuses and these feelings come naturally to us as we are such emotional and sensitive people. In SO you think you can dance 10 times better dancers compared to what we have in India get screwed by the judges if they even make a slightest mistake and that helps them to become even better. But here if someone has even done rubbish they will say " Oh poor girl, tried this for the first time so its ok, not bad" and there itself we have set a low standard for our dancers. Thats why today that girl who got eliminated from Terence's team deserved to go out as she tried to do a new style and her efforts were seen on screen as there were so many technique based steps like rond de jambe, pirouette, floor work, spirals that she couldnt do as she didnt receive any formal training and therefore it looked effortful...
But of course Shakti is trained and graduated from TLDFST (Terence Lewis Dance Foundation Scholarship Trust) therefore she is so good. Now this is because she has worked hard to train herself. Before TLA she was with Ashley and she continued to make an effort to train her body with limited resources. Many other students who graduated from TLDFST are not upto the mark as they didnt put an effort and took things seriously then. So whatever she can do today is because she has put lot of hard work into that....
Somewhere its choreographers fault also. When they were given their 6 contestants, which was more than a month back she should have started with Ballet, Jazz training everyday compulsory whether you like it or not and the should have had Latin American, Contemporary, Modern and Indian CLassical training everyday. But they didnt do that and that shows on screen. May be Terence trained his dancers from the very beginning as he is intelligent and very focused towards technique training but I doubt if Geeta and Remo did that. Its shows on the dancers performance that they learned this section in a day or two.
But in SYTYCD even though dancers have done ballet for 10 years or more they still keep training their bodies as training never ends. It ends only after you die but till then you still have to go to the barre and do you plies and tendus. There are no shortcuts to success and that is what we have failed to understand on DID.

Again I would like to mention that the reason I am saying all this is only because I want the show to look better so that DID can make our country proud and show America that we are no less.
I have nothing personal against anybody. Dance is my passion and it irritates me when I see a lousy , mediocre dance show.

And please reduce the drama. DID has more tears and drama then any Balaji serial. Its a dance based show therefore show genuine dance and be realistic.
And stop make a mockery of the male anchor. I wonder how is he taking all the rubbish!

Best Regards,
A fan of Jack Cole.

DID will stand the same level as So You Think You Can Dance if..., the contestants are really good and skilled enough in dancing, performing and acting...!👎🏼

DID will succeed if the show has someone like Katee and Joshua (SYTYCD season 2008)... They know the story line of their performance, know how to act and gave to the fullest heart and soul, very skilled, fast learners, and looking so beautiful when they were dancing..! They need the show to shine their dancing skills, to approve themselves in that field and to grab opportunities learning any dancing skills or routines that they never learn before..!👏
But as I see, mostly the DID 2 contestants are really crazy to become glamour... It's not dancing that they really excited of.. it's the chance to become actor/actress in the industy.... They only chase for this...!! That's why they show their attitudes..., perform sensuously..., as all these just to attract film makers...! Even worst, the DID 2 contestants look ugly while they were performing...! Very ungraceful and please stop choreographing a circus performance...!😔
If they do love dancing..., they should know the diciplines in dancing...
Like Salsa, the dance routine is so sexy.., but if you are technically good enough.., the dance will look decent, beautiful and can be watched by any ages...!😊
So, please improve, and stop giving sensual couple dancing performance as now becomes too much..., must concern.., kids too watching the show...!!👍🏼

What the fudge is up with Samwya and Dharmesh third grade acting in being in love with each other.

Mithun should quit speaking English and stop attempting words such as 'Haaat.'
Jay for the last time is not funny. It's lame.
You have spoken my mind in terms of choreorgraphy and such.
