The episodes of the last 2 days have marked a turning point in the lives of all 3 couples – but especially PriDa. They are the oldest and hence the responsibility of shouldering this burden comes to them naturally. Damini for all her bluster is a very soft and vulnerable person – she is hotheaded and impulsive – which was why Ila was always having to control her and guide her. Ila probably worried about her oldest daughter the most which is why she chose Prithvi Saxena for her – a man she knew would take care of her daughter, an man with a good head on his shoulders (the killer smile doesn't hurt 😉) and above all a man who would put family over everything.
Notice the interaction between PriDa when he told her the truth. He is strong when he tells her what the situation is and how deep in trouble they actually are. He also leans on her for support and asks her if she will support him. She assures him she will and this gives him the courage to go forward and tell his brothers while she tells her sisters. PriDa no matter what their differences are bound together very strongly – they are each other's source of strength. Damini leaning on Prithvi is what we see – but what is not as obvious is that he is doing all this for her – she is his inspiration and the one who keeps him honest.

Prithvi draws strength from Damz and meets with his brothers to make a plan. He decides to sell the Manali home – imagine this man's strength of character. This is the only home he has ever known but he is willing to part with it so that the girls don't lose their home – he knows they have lost a lot –so he will do his part to keep them in their home even if it means he has to sacrifice his childhood home. He convinces his brothers that this is the thing to do. Varun does not hesitate because he is practical and realizes what is at stake. Sam is the dreamer and hence first refuses to abide by this but Prithvi makes him realize that the girls are their responsibility now and these girls have lost everything. So Sam agrees.

The scene where the people are taking all the cars, jewellery and cars away was heartwrenching. But then Rosh the youngest and the most immature falls apart when they try to take Ila's favorite painting away and cries holding onto the painting for them to not take it away. At that minute Damini looks at Prithvi and that is all it takes Prithvi tells them that they will pay for the painting. This is the level of understanding and love that exists between PriDa. Ahhh this warms my Pridaholic heart – who needs words when a glance says it all right?
Sameer instinctively knows that Avni is worried and unhappy when her finds her gone. Her finds her in the nursery clutching a bear and crying. She is worried about the future of her baby. He comforts her and takes her to the kitchen because he knows she is hungry. The change that has come over this man is amazing. He was always a caring individual but his father's death embittered him and he ended up hurting Avni. It is plain as the nose on your face to see that he loves her immensely now. He takes care of her every need and want. He knows what she needs and will provide it. He was willing to run out in the middle of the night because Avni wanted cake – how far these two have come. He ends up creating a dessert for her because she wants to eat something sweet.
Last but not the least Varni – their interaction was so cute. Rosh willing to sit next to veggie so that Varun can get some sleep. Varun worried about Rosh's health and refusing the offer until Rosh turns it back around and tells him that he will fall ill. Rosh has made up the bed in a guest room so that he can sleep. Varun is still amazed at how far they have come and that she has made up a bed for him to sleep. So cute.

and that woman is now the matriarch of the family – Damini Gujral Saxena. Look at the hospital scene where Damini takes responsibility of veggie. From the very first time Damini saw veggie, she has made an attempt to touch her and bond with her. Veggie will recover in Damini's care. Prithvi knows how much Damini cares for veggie – if you remember she even surprised the skeptical Sameer with how much she cared before the truth was out. Veggie is going to be one of her staunchest supporters once she wakes up. Here are several reasons why veggie will wake up
- because her three daughters – ok then two daughters-in-law and one prospective daughter-in-law will take excellent care of her.
- Because she wants to play with her grandchild
- Because her sons and daughters need her
- Because she needs to get rid of some annoying uninvited pain in the rears
And now for the Prida precap – haila 😍 😍 😍 – I hope it is as good as it looks. Cannot wait for tomorrow. Look at how confidently Prithvi is saying that they need to be together – I could not have imagined Prithvi Saxena being this confident about his demands. But Ila dying and this whole bankruptcy business has shifted the scales in his favor. I hope Damzie makes him sweat a bit before giving in. Will she give in? Yeah like that is really a valid question. What woman can resist Prithvi Saxena? Probably a dead one. 😆
