Filmmaker Karan Johar seems to be quite upset about the failure of his film Kurbaan. Sources close to Karan's production House Dharma Production claim that Karan has shown door to Kurbaan film's director Rensil D'silva.

Apparently it has been heard that since Kurbaan did not do well at the box office things were not very cordial between Karan Johar and Rensil D'Silva. Sources add that they decided to part ways.

Sources inform, "Karan Johar had a lot of hopes from Kurbaan but the film turned out to be a box office dud. Karan was very disappointed with the film. After that things were not the same between Rensil and Karan.

Karan had recently said "I want to introduce new directors every year. We need more talent in the industry." Some of the other debutant directors, who will make debut with Dharma Productions in 2010, are Puneet Malhotra and Siddharth Malhotra

Puneet Malhotra will direct a movie titled I Hate Luv Storys, which stars Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor. Malhotra has earlier worked with Johar as an assistant director. On the other hand, Siddharth Malhotra is slated to direct the Stepmom remake that will have Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead.

Not true, Rensil is already working on another film for Dharma Productions. 😊

He hasnt given it away, but he's working on a script, and its indeed for Dharma. Even after kurbaan's flop, karan said he'll always be really proud of it and he himself also admitted rensil's already working on another project for them 😃

Aww Karan is a sweetheart:) I hope rensil's next film does well at the box office,he deserves it!

If this is true then can anyone blame Karan !! He is such a great movie maker !!
