On the whole ,KURBAAN is the most powerful film to come out of the Hindi film industry in 2009, so far. The film has a captivating plot, gripping screenplay, super performances and a climax that shakes you up completely. Watching this movie should be on top of your agenda this week.

Kareena looked like a Dream in Shukrallah Song

No matter what had been the Indian boxoffice (which anyways doesn't matter to me), this movie was - again - a good directorial debut (imo). I especially was interested in the movie because of Kareena's role and the working together with Saif on screen after having committed to their love (which I could witness first hand in 2008). Saif and Kareena really brought a change to each other (again imo).

new york was the better one, a good movie. kurbaan too was watchable though not impressive.

Still one can't deny that Kareena had/has the knack to ask for prominent roles as an actress - from her debuting, btw.
