Yes, they have destroyed the very basic character of the main female lead, all in the name of the supreme sacrifice, a sacrifice which is self defeating and hurtful to the people she claims to be doing it for.
They did it to Prachi in Kayamath when in the name of a mindless leap, they destroyed her totally and made her behave totally irrationally and sadistically. Now they have done it to Santu in this show.
In order to protect the fact that Arjan had wrongfully hit his father and that Maulik had later killed him to save his own skin (two good for nothing characters), our great mahan Santu decides to take the blame of a lie which is so ridiculous. Now she is depriving Birwa and Suraj of a mother and her husband of a wife. Good going Santu. You'll get your sainthood from the nonsensical K-world.
From this all I can say is that neither Ekta nor Sandip Sickand have learnt their lesson.
Another good show goes down the drain.
I guess I can safely quit watching this utter nonsense and luckily I did not get emotionally involved with any of the characters as I did with Michi in Kayamath. So breaking free is so much easier.
