They really show the name (like ABHI calling), 26 missed calls, the content in the SMS, everything looks real when compred with other TV serials. Other TV serials don't use the mobile phones the way KB does. Characters in other shows may just use the mobile phone to keep it next to their ears and just talk - it looks so fake! In KB, in some scenes we can even see the number. I sometimes think I should wrote down that number and try n call! 😉
Even the SMS language - its in hindi written in english, the way 2 friends would talk in their common language!
IMO, this also makes the show unique and real. Mobile phone is really being used as part of this show and is an integral part of the show.

I hope they are getting advertising dollars for all the times they show these cellphones!! LOL Good observations.

Oh you are right .. bcos I could see Simi's mobile coverage is by Vodafone!!

Poor Abhi when ever the phone rings and its Simi's he is so excited to speak to her and says hi in all freshness just to hear Simi's melodrama voice Abhi tum ab kissesay kuch nahi kaho gay 😔

i have never heard any conversation after the confession where they both have a nice sweet greeting for each other

More Observations on phone close ups.

The SMS es are two days earlier on Abhi's phone. Like if the show is being aired on 14th, the SMS date on Abhi's phone is 12th.

Same with the new Neetu's phone.

Simi's phone is dated back to Jan uary 2008. Her phone shows the mode as "Silent" but her phone is audible when anyone calls.

The time of SMS is not OK. The SMS to Abhi saying Natkhat laal, meet me at 4 today evening is sent at around 5.45 pm.

When Abhi replies to this, there are other messages seen showing...Abhi, your pick up time is.......Probably its the actors phone only.

By the way, ABHI calling (as seen on Simi's phone) numbers are from 3 different mobile numbers please. So anyone having the idea to try calling will not get you to Abhi.

One more thing it was real to see DI SIMI calling on Anuj's phone.

I liked the way Abhi was asking Simi Are you wearing the ring I gave you or the kangan Nakul gave you !!

She has nice fingers and the way she rushes the ring inside was very sweet !!

About the so called SMS bloopers, I think we should give that much of freedom yaar.

They are definitely shooting a day or 2 earlier than the episodes are aired, so they cannot change the date ahead.

I do agree that the mobile phones are actors own. Not just mobile phone, some of the other accessories too like wrist watch, finger rings etc are their own and sometimes the footwear too.

Yes, I did notice that the phone number from which Abhi calls has changed in between episodes and lately Simi is trying to hide that number with her finger placed on the mobile's LCD screen.

Sometimes the times do match, like for eg just before the Simbhi scene in kitchen, Simi is shown to be clearing the dining table after dinner and Abhi send a message and that is around 8pm ...

We cannot be that scrutinizing over the times and the dates and the phone numbers, so, I do ignore those facts .. what I would appreciate is the way they really are using the SMS technology and the fact that we actually see the caller id and get to read the SMS message, haven't seen that in any other show before or current.

Bee I agree though these bloopers are there we appriciate the use of phone and the way SMS are sent !! I have'nt seen such extensive use in other serials
