What is the need dragging other actors when Aamir already did the role? Could anyone do the role Akshay did in Aankhain? NO, Could you think of anyone the role Srk did in DDLJ, Chak De, Swades and RNBDJ? Can you think of any other in Andaz Apna Apna? NO.
Srk was offered many movies like Lagaan, 3 Idiots, Munnabhai but things didn't happened. Srk himself said no one could had done a better job to what Sanjay Dutt did.
Same goes for Aamir, he was offered Baazigar and Darr. It wasn't meant to be.
We should appreciate actors work instead of just putting other actors and members down. If the actor is your favorite, you will say this is a biased comment. Can we move on please? First post was about aamir and now it's because aamir vs rest of the actors.
Agreed, SPECIALLY the last part. Aamir is a huge name, there is no doubt about that. I don't see anybody trying to put down Aamir or his contribution in any way. Obviously, he is responsible for the blockbuster status of the movie, EVERYONE is saying that.
Fact is also that Salman, Akshay and SRK also get huge openings for their movies. So, we shouldn't take away their contribution to cinema either.
I love Minnie ji's example of Gadar. I loved that movie. Frankly, I don't see anyone doing some of the roles he has done. Could anyone else have given that speech of Tareekh pe Tareekh and the dhai kilo ka mukka. You can try to put down a movie saying 'oh, just silly action', as it happened with Wanted but the HUGE success of the movie speaks for itself, that too with an A certificate and no popular songs. So, who was responsible? Boney? 😆😆 Honestly, it's about time people give due credit to others.
It's funny seeing comments as 'oh, I have praised too instead of criticising', when I can clearly remember many of the movies and actors being put down EVEN AFTER the movie was a huge success and a superhit. It's still making money because it's still running at some of the cinemas, btw. Yes, I am talking about Wanted. It was put down earlier and still it is being put down even now. Not even acknowledged in any of the best films polls, so much so that if someone mentions it, they get a 'oh, stupid action movie, made no sense'. 😆 So, us mein public nahin jaanti kya, wo kaise hit ho gayi? 😆
Some people even made a claim that Akshay fails to draw a crowd even when he got huge openings for his movies. 😛 Yeah, many of his movies failed, but still made crores of rupees. Infact, many of his flops made much more money than some of the hits of the year. The only thing that worked against the movies was their huge budget, unfortunately. 😛
