Kareena Named One of the 15 People Who Mattered

Kareena Kapoor is on a roll right now! The B-town beauty had an amazing 2009 and her year ended on a high note following her role in the international box-office hit "3 Idiots."

So it's about time that the "Kurbaan" star got recognized! And in what way! CNNgo put Bebo on its list of the '15 People Who Mattered Most in 2009' which features important scientists, politicians, musicians, and only three other Bollywood actors; "Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year" star Ranbir Kapoor, Academy Award winning music composer A.R. Rahman and "Road, Movie" actor Abhay Deol.

And who knows? Maybe even greater things are awaiting Kareena in 2010? Rumors have it the popular cover girl and her beau Saif Ali Khan are slowly but surely making their way to the altar!

Saif has reportedly told reporters that "I'm now looking forward to settling down with Kareena. Our marriage will happen very shortly, as soon as we both have a little less work on hand and we can give the marriage quality time."

So only time will tell if Kareena's 2010 will be as successful as her 2009 but let's just say that she is off to a good start!
