I saw today's episode and they revealed Basant as Mahavir Singh's son....Mahavir Singh tells Maasa that I wont leave empty handed from your haveli and if I cant have my son I want my grandson!!! They show Gehna is very shocked and Basant gets very angry and shouts at Mahavir Singh that how dared he talk about his son like that....He starts to throttle Mahavir Singh....They showed this because Basant is more loyal to Maasa and it will become a irony of sorts....So its Jagdish's father Bhairav who is the true heir to Maasa and not Basant...

Mahavir.. how dare he threaten to tak Basanth son with him... that was too much..but good to see maasa zipped up atleast for once.. she had no answer for whatever MS said👏

but am surprised - why did she ever do it?? why did she want to make some one else's son hers?? its so hard to loose a kid, agreed, but she still cant rest assured that no one will ever come out with the truth know! then why on earth did she take that risk??
poor basant sa, he must be shattered hearing this 😔

I think its coz, she knew MS true colors and might didnt want the baby to be like him and after all the mother who gave birth to him was died and her baby was a still one.. so she took him for her and i see nothing wrong there.. except for the fact that she has been so selfish so far
