Why this discussion now.. It will be unfair to first 10 participants at this point of time. The game has to continue the way it is, no matter what results are.

All the changes and suggestions are good, but can be used only after the game is over, or call all the 12 constests back, and restart the process..

Libra, thanks for your views...actually if you see, mine and others' suggestions for future contests....not for the existing contest....

I like it. That way everyone has a candidate that they wanted. But then
you would have people in W Bengal grumble that Assam has too influence
in the vote, blah blah blah.

I think that public voting is the problem. As we say in Bengali -- Ora
Ganer Ga Jane na!

mdroy, yes, you are right... this another issue....this is known as wheels within wheels.....there would be no end to it....

As some other member suggested, voting pattern should not be made public...in a country like India, revealing of voting pattern only incites regionalism...then state-ism....then city-ism....then loality-ism...in that order...

I don't know about the other members who have posted on this thread, but I was merely suggesting for the next Challenge (provided there is one).
And as to why now...it's a topic most of us are very passionate about, and can't find enough opportunities to voice our dissatisfaction.

simtara, you are right....my intention was also for future contests....be it SRGMP or II or another contest...
