methinx there has not been enough motive to explain anita's volte face..why did she suddenly change from a femme who participated in simi's shaadi, threw a shoe at le bhalla as he made his ignominous exit and wept at abhi's sensitivity s/p shaadi..
is it that it is her inherent materialistic streak that is making itself evident, or is it the insecurity of a new D-I-L in the sethi household. after all,she did know what she was getting into!!

if Sr.sethi refused to let her stuff in..was this the only catalyst??
and abhi, her brother the sibling she was most attached to and shared everything with?? suddenly..to go diverse paths from him and to say ki garibon ki madad karte, tum bhi garibon ki tarah sochne lage ho.. what is also a revelation is the total absence of scruples in her..this is odd!
what is the source of this mental discontent??

That appears to be the overriding reason if the 'elders' chez moi are to be heeded . . .
I would still posit the sudden appearance (figuratively speaking of course) of brain lesions . . .
But then we have also put forth the possibility of a hitherto absence of the S'Pore 'honeymoon' as a likely reason . . .
Finally, someone of The Sunshiners had a brain-wave one fine morning and didn't want all the female attention falling on Abhi . . . nothing like getting a woman to sit up and listen by throwing out a dragon-lady with an arsenic laced tongue (surely all of us birds of a feather have been at the receiving end of just such an Anita) . . . which is very likely why she's prancing around in those outlandish duds . . . another thing to make a woman sit up and notice (even from the deepest somonolent state brought on by the most ennuyeuse writing) is the appearance of another dressed in togs never before seen on the planet (you suppose the lehengari is going to be the rage on the Indian fashion scene soon?) . . . even the pater commented last night on the stuff she wore while tailing her bro' to the park . . . de gustibus non est disputandum (I mean that it's all in Anita's mouth) . . .
But wait! There may be a flaw in my hypothesis (IMAGINE THAT?!!!) . . . perhaps they want the female audience to gravitate big-time towards our very own Abhi, and creating such a polarization is the most effective approach ... wouldn't you throw your lot in with him? Brings out the maternal instinct and all . . . must protect him from the wrath of a woman scorned ...
Or maybe ... they needed to make sure that since she's not the one wearing the pants in the Sethi Jr. coalition, that they compensate for that by having her sport all the smarts! After all - who would disagree that there is a decided streak of the imbecile around Anuj's ears? 😊
So, oh you femme so divine, what thinkest thou of my propositions? 😊

Yes I too found stupid changing character of Anita, but it must be someone to play the bad guys and it was she who in the role.

It's been much too long since I was immersed in French, so you must forgive - but I welcome the chance to revive whatever little that remains, so please correct all the grammatical faux pas in my version above
Cheers! 😊

Bien sur SValeCalGal j'ai compris ce que tu as voulu dire, RB est bien mauvais mais il l'a ete depuis le depart il a jamais cacher son jeu en voulant detruire la vie de Simi

RB is bad true but surely its much more interesting to have a female version of the bad guy..... can any guy ever match up to a woman in pure viciousness?? n then of course the fun they can have dressing her up in an outlandish manner, garish makeup et al....

they needed sum1 in a hurry and who better than mrs. imbecile. Besides dont expect ppl to behave in a logical manner and/or display common sense as voltaire said "common sense is not so common". Surely the examples of the past couple of days have reiterated this?? 😃

err! can i yawn?? at todays episode of course 😃

Until but a day ago, I would have taken great exception to this i.e. thanks to rife misogyny/uxorophobia (Farwa), women are unjustly portrayed in this light . . . but now I guess, I must eat crow ... yet again! Yuck!! I'm beginning to hate the taste left in my mouth ... from events other than just the forced gorging on ravens (akin to the heinous production of fois gras) 😉
err! can i yawn?? at todays episode of course 😃
Who am to stop you? Especially since it wasn't misspelt ...
But, jokes aside ... are you referring to the 12/28 or the 12/29 show? I will shortly opine on Mrs. Sethi's lamentations most unfine . . . puke!

bewajah I understand your point but it is already seen in the past when we think something will happen that can not, but if there are no bad or parallel in history do you think Abhi do all to keep Simi loan him any price? For now he just "open" the shop's father but in a next future we know it will be more things to do that.

Since poetry is leaving prose in the dust . . .
Lend me thine ears oh ye femmes divine

Birds of like feather ever so fine

Sit by my side and let me opine

All to be divested from this chest of mine

Is it the dense Delhi haze of late

That has many a mind laid to waste

A mother who's laments will not abate

The departure of even a consummate ingrate

A sister who for reasons so base

Tears into a brother once so dear so full of grace

And twists and turns the men in her grasp

As easily as a mantis praying on an insect in its clasp

A husband so weak so pathetic a fellow

With a streak of cowardice so wide so yellow

Knows not how to rein in a wife not mellow

She plays him so deftly - much more than a cello

A youth so brave so full of spine

To save his love from a fate so malign

Every effort will employ never stopping to resign

Until she is his in all matters affine
