'Pappu' returns to haunt Imran Khan

Mumbai: Rumour is rife in the industry that Shahid Kapur in his new movie Chance Pe Dance is taking a dig at his industry competitor Imran Khan and his dancing skills. There is a song in the film whose lyrics are directly referring to Aamir's nephew.

A highly placed source close to the development says: "When Aamir Khan released his song Pappu Can't Dance Saala he was asked if this song was based on Salman Khan's dancing prowess. A year later the 'Pappu' jinx has struck again with industry gossiping big time whether Shahid is taking a dig at Imran this time."

The insider adds: "In Chance Pe Dance, which also has Genelia D'Souza, there is a particular song called 'Just Do It'. The lyrics of the song contain the line Sala Pappu Bhi Naach Ke Dikhayega. This has lead to a lot of fans asking director Ken Ghosh on Twitter if he is referring to Imran Khan's dancing skills here, because of the word 'Pappu'."

Ken, however, refutes these allegations. "Not many people know this, but I started referring to Shahid as 'Paapu' after his hit song 'Aye Paapi' from Kismet

Konnection released and this song in Chance Pe Dance is in no way connected to Imran Khan. It's simply my personal way of referring to my buddy Shahid," the director says.
