I think Shiamak's criteria in choosing the final contenders for the semi's has more to do with quality than quantity, as would anyone else's in his place...there is no denying the fact that Vishal worked hard...everybody worked hard...and that includes Karishma as well...not being on stage the last couple of weeks doesn't really take away from the fact that she might have been rehearsing for last night's routine...there are varying levels of hard work, of course...Puneet's had continuous performances for the past couple of weeks...and it is completely to his credit that he's pulled off each one of them to perfection...so a couple of dancers have had to work harder than others...but that is bound to happen when you're working as a team...and a team is the unit that is contending for the title at this stage, not individual dancers...besides, not being on stage wasn't really Karishma's fault...it was an injury, which is not an excuse...but to make up for the absense of a member is what a team is for...which is exactly what WYs did...
Last night, Vishal was good, but Karishma took the bar alot higher when she hit the stage...they cannot be compared in terms of dance forms being different, and one being a solo while the other is a duet, but the fact remains that she left more of an impact on alot of people, which might have included Shiamak as well...and she's registered noticeable growth from her past performances as well, while Vishal has been good, and is still good, but on the same plane...Having said that, I do really admire Vishal...and I also think that he is a very talented dancer...would have liked to see him in the semis, but well...such is life...all the best to him for everything...Cheers! 😊
