Saw it last nite ...wanted to write a review but u said everything I wanted to say!😊Originally posted by: -Saalekh-
Ok so 1st of all, Paa can't be compared to tare zameen par. I mean TZP is an exception and will always be until some really really good movie can touch our heart more than TZP did. So I will say I thought Paa was less "touching" than TZP but then again i don't want to do any comparison here. I am simply using TZP to tell you how i felt or how "touched" i felt watching Paa.
Paa is an adorable & lovely movie, the best part is that it is definitely a family film. Amitabh Bachan, the person who I never liked, stole my heart and stole the whole movie by his acting as auro. He would be the main reason why you would just love PAA. His acting is undefinable. His way of talking is perfect as a 13-year-old boy, he doesn't even exaggerate it or anything, he just acts the perfect way which makes it more & more real. Yes, you won't even realize that behind that auro mask, it's the old "angry young man" hiding, it's just simply the CUTEST Auro, & only Auro, A-U-R-O 😊 He makes you laugh, hre brings tears to your eyes, he makes you dance, sorry i mean the monkey dance, & he makes you fall in love with him. He's definitely here to bag loads of awards this year, I am definitely voting for him if i need to even if he's really not my fav actor lol.
Now talking about the other characters, i didn't find Abhisekh exceptional or anything, but he's character was pretty loveable. I would say Vidya was the important one in the movie. Vidya's just beautiful and amazing in the movie. Her relationship with auro was what brought tears to my eyes, she portrays AB's mother perfectly. Her mother is even cuter and lovelier lol. She's so supportive and friendly, even her relationship with auro is portrayed in a fantastic manner.
Auro's school is so supportive that I would love to know which world they are in where the classmates accept such a different looking person than them. I mean in this world now, few students can't even tolerate another student who looks slightly different than them, where in auro's school everybody loves him. Every character is really nice and that's what makes the movie very positive. Oh btw don't miss the scene of conversation of phone between auro & his friend. It's unforgettable.
I didn't like one thing about the movie however. It stretched the "politics" part way too much. I felt that the movie's time was literally wasted and it was focused so much that for a second i thought the movie is about poiltics. C'mon the movie is about auro, show him more!
I loved the songs. They are catchy and umm...nice!
I will rate is 4/5
Only if auro was shown more, cutting the stretched "politics" matter, i would've rated it 5/5.
