Are you sure that the heavy voice is Bhimsen Joshi? and not Ustad Sultan Khan ?

Yes Sultan Ustad Khan sang the song "Albela Sajan" in the movie, as far as my search indicates. Anyway it is a lovely song .

Yes, the song is a lovely one and one of my favourites. Ismail Darbar's music is very attractive. Thanks to Kuhuji for posting it.

i am yet to apprecate pure classical music.. my dad has many of this man's cassettes and he made me listen to it.. I didnt enjoy it but i was very very amazed at his covering of the octaves :)

well my dad went to his concerts and he collapsed drunk and it was cancelled/postponed , but no he's not a weirdo 😆

oh and i called latas bro a weirdo because he looks like one and talks long and boring stuff, not coz of his music 😛
