If situation demands, who would u choose, self respect or ur just born baby? I was watching todays episode n when the baby was crying when gehna was leaving,i had only one question in my mind.is self respect or pride bigger than ur own baby who is barely few days old? i am not saying whether gehna was right or wrong ofcourse she was right in her own sense but at what cost? U r depriving a baby of his rights, mothers love, mothers milk n many other things which is so imp in the initial stage.its just my opinion.yours r welcome.

I would forget about my self respect and be with my baby. no matter what the consequences. My baby is the most important thing in my life. And who does not go thru some circumstances that hurts your self respect and pride with your in-laws. That does not mean we just abandon our baby for the sake of self respect and dignity.
Just my thoughts. There may be some who will not agree with me.

Gehna obviously trusts that her baby will be ok with Sumitra and Basant and right now believes it is more important to stand for what is right.

it wasn't just a little blow to her pride and self-respect but her life was being sacrificed for the sake of a waaris. why should she have to stand up for that and put up with that

and the other aspect of all this is that Gehna is still a teenager...and she has shown a lot of maturity to this point but isn't it realistic to think that a teenager would care about herself too. In my experience most teenagers (including when I was one) are pretty darn selfish. It is highly unlikely to see a self sacrifising mahaan bahu type like anandi portrays. so for once Gehna is being real. and she is by far the only character I like and respect in this whole show

I think being right or wrong are totally relative terms. Gehna is right as a woman and wrong as a mother. I totally agree with Gehna saying that she would have let herself down if she doesn't leave the place.
Here, i think Basant should have shown some guts & could have confronted Maasa when she offered Gehna money to take care of her own son.
Basant should have bridged the gap b/w Maasa and Gehna, as he knew that Gehna might be leaving after delivering the baby.

I support Gehna whole heartedly as a person-but what about the baby? Instead of saying take this baby with you-Basant should have stopped Maasa from blabbering all that she did. which woman would want to be his wife when he has no spine?

The first thing you do as a mom is sacrifice. You put your child before you. So Gehna should have stayed back for her child.
Having said that, if she was keen on getting moving for her self respect, she should not go back to her parents where she is a burden to them, both financially and socially- nobody would marry her sisters who are not only poor but related to a girl who has walked away from her in-laws. She should become independent and stand on her own two feet.

i think Gehna is right in her place..but a new born baby needs his mother most..Gehna cud have left the house after 3-4 months..or may be a yr..Hats off to this girl and the production house for this twist..it's wonderful....it shows that women are not weak..they're not born to be act like slaves or for the purpose of making babies..we're self respecting women of today...
