eating or not eating fish should not be the main issue with rumpa's mom.if rumpa deosnt' mind leaving non veg then rumpa's mom should be happy with it. when u come to a show to get married,u are bound to get people from different castes.rumpa's mom shouldn't have let her daughter come in the show if caste was a major issue for her.

Champa-Rumpa's mom explained that she has her reservations regarding her daughter marrying someone who does not belong to their caste. Perhaps, her intention was to express that despite her personal preference for a Son-I-L from their caste, she is willing to accept whoever her daughter chooses. She also expressed her concerns with Champa-Rumpa's choice to give up non-veg; and if that is a committment that can be upheld on a long-term basis. Mrs. Roy also stated that she does not know the financial state of Hitesh's family despite their repeated proclamation of being business wise. To her credit, Mrs. Roy broached various topics that must addressed prior to marriage. After all, love isn't enough to row the boat (of marriage).

What I did not quite comprehend was the timing of these discussions. Champa made her decision a few weeks ago. Have the Roy family found some evidence that may have implanted seeds of doubt in their mind about Champa marrying Hitty? There's a little more depth to Mrs. Roy's outbursts than what was shown on TV. We are watching bits and pieces of an intense discussion as decided by Star Plus. We may never know what was truly addressed in that meeting. I am unimpressed by the way in which Mrs. Roy gave Hitty's amma's the cold shoulder. IMHO she could have conducted herself in a commanding manner without denigrating Hitty's amma. Overall though, Mrs. Roy has my vote for standing up for her daughter.
Right questions. Wrong timing.

I believe they are Brahmin, as their last name is Roy. But i think whe Rumpa's Mom has had a chance to see more of Hitesh, now, she's really against this marriage. Ho sakta hai ke Rumpa ne pehle Mummy Daddy ko DANDA kiya hoga, ke beech mein kuchh nahin bolna. Ab pani sir se upar ho gaya ho.

Qyuite possible they are Bengali Brahmins...[i got confused, but jo bhi hai they are upper caste] but apna hitty bhi to kam hai kya..'Prithviraj Chauhan' ka vanshaj hai😆 History books mein naam aayega Rumpa Hitty ka, just like 'Prithviraj-Sanyukta'😛
