Rumpa's mom said she was Caste waadi..meaning she prefers grooms from her own caste! Then why the hell did she not tell this before?? Every saturday she would just say 'Jo beti ko pasand woh mujhe pasand". I clearly recall Gulabo asking them or (just her dad) that "Aapko koi caste vaste ka to nahi nahi na"? At that time, they did not say anything. Also, if they wanted a Bengali guy, did they not know there was no Bengali or any one from Bengal on the show, right in the beginning?🤢

This is not done!!All psycho's !!

i was thinking the same thing. all these parents that at the end bring up such traditional issues should not have sent their kids to find life partners in such non-traditional ways.
kya wahan unki shaadi nahi hoti thi. what was the use of coming to the show if you still hold some very tight traditional beliefs?

Rumpa's mom was not too thrilled by the match her beti had made for herself. She said "Jo beti ko pasand woh mujhe pasand" only because Rumpa had instructed her to do so. Even last week Rump's dad had told Rump that her mom and her bro were not happy. As the lady pointed out yesterday, it was just that she did not get a proper opportunity to express her opinions.

I agree with u both syrene,MJ and SAS, but I think her major concern was that her daughter would not be able to eat Fish (Poor Fish, I pity u). She was more like "If my daughter married someone from my caste, she will go on Happy Fish Eating Vacations 😉 To me her problem seemed more to be eating fish than the same caste 😕

Nahi re, I am talking about the time when Pooja was still there and Hitty and Rumpa hadnt hitched. This had happened on a saturday episode where all parents were asked to pick grooms. Then Rumpa's mom picked Vivek and later exclaimed 'Jo beti ko pasand wahee mujhe pasand"

I believe they are Brahmin, as their last name is Roy. But i think whe Rumpa's Mom has had a chance to see more of Hitesh, now, she's really against this marriage. Ho sakta hai ke Rumpa ne pehle Mummy Daddy ko DANDA kiya hoga, ke beech mein kuchh nahin bolna. Ab pani sir se upar ho gaya ho.
